C.O.D would sharpen this coffee shopLong queues and staff who enjoy banter with each other rather than focusing on serving customers could all be solved by a system of Cash On Delivery (C.O.D).No cash until the product in the customers hand would put a time pressure on them to be swift. I waited 10 mins from ordering for a coffee and a cake and that was a typical wait.It's no good, no good at all.

At this Costa location, you'll find friendly staff and a pleasant atmosphere. However, it tends to get quite busy, and seating options are limited. On two separate occasions, we encountered issues with the card machine failing. Fortunately, we had cash on hand both times, preventing our coffees from going to waste.

Updating review. It?s no longer a place to grab a quick cup of coffee, as I?m currently waiting 15 minutes for a flat white. Avoid this place and go to the bakery further down the high street.

They left a number of people standing out in the cold for like 10 minutes after the official opening time in the middle of December , knocking on door got us noticed but ignored like the customers here are some minor nuisance to be scowled at! The WiFi is pretty good so I?m wondering if they were only taking cash and claiming their system was down so no-one could use their loyalty cards! I know skimmers when I see them and I will avoid this costa in future, especially as I came back in the afternoon and had another coffee and was asked to leave early so the staff could go home earlier than normal, exactly the kind of costa I can only muster contempt for!

Been going here years but since the franchisee changed its the worst Costa Ive experienced. Hours they open are incorrect, they open later than others, card machine has been offline for months now so cannot use debit card or loyalty card. The older blonde lady who is a barista (possibly also the franchisee) is also the most rude and indifferent barista I've encountered

Don't get your hopes up, if your planning going with your kids before school. Princes risborough costa, decides different times each week to open, and how you can pay. You go and get cash out cause yesterday you could only pay cash, when you go to pay card only, when you say it was only cash yesterday, they are very rude. Costa doesn't deserve a spot in ris. Someone could have a nice coffee shop, that opened as they are suppose to. Risborough costa is just crap, would even rate it one. Good luck if you go

Popped in today to collect a Too Good To Go surprise bag. Either the guidelines from Costa have changed or the server was having me on.I was told I could pick 3 items. I?ve never been asked to pick before and 3 items is considerably less than any of the surprise bags I have had before from this or any other location. I?ve used Too Good To Go at this Costa before and the bags have been much more generous. The sever was curt in their description of the guidelines and not remotely empathetic as to why I was disappointed with change.This undermines the point of reducing food waste if the bag is limited to 3 items, especially if the value of those 3 items is less than the value promised by Costa via the Too good Too Go app. So much for your sustainability values.It also undermines the customer experience if the server can?t empathise with their customers.I note also that the customers before me we given a similarly curt explanation to the questions they were asking too.Not great Costa!

I?ve been a customer here for more than 10 years? Not even open today (Tuesday 19th Sept 23) This used to be a good place for a morning coffee & snack, or a meet-up with colleagues. The franchisee obviously has problems, but the staff have done their best under the circumstances so far. Sort this out Costa ?. or leave our town
