Incredible place. We love walking our dog at Cliveden and this restaurant is super dog friendly so perfect for a post walk lunch. The food is always excellent (fish and chips is wow!) and even the dog gets her own menu and place with a blanket at the table. The service is excellent and the food keeps us coming back. Well done Astor Grill! Shout out to Davey the Waiter, thoughtful and attentive, thank you ?

Very disappointing. The staff were far too casual. The food is average?. £97 for basically a chicken Kiev on a waffle and 2 glasses of wine. You get blown away by the surroundings of the main house but I wouldn?t rush back for the food or the service?.. all just average.

We parked right outside Cliveden so it was a short walk to The Astor Grill we were greeted and escorted to the champagne reception room with canapés and then to our table Christmas dinner was superb especially the roast potatoes beautiful turkey with stuffing and apricot accompanied by carrots and a loverly Yorkshire. We had a great band which I loved that really made a difference. The french guy was fantastic very attentive excellent service and the guy with the hair bun. The mince pies were the best I've ever eaten and just the right size. The crackers were great! Would definitely come back at Christmas. All the staff were brilliant. Would definitely recommend you try this at least once.

Fantastic Birthday treat! Staff were excellent, friendly and welcoming. Relatively simple menu but great food. Be prepared to pay for the experience. Drinks somewhat overpriced!!

We had a wonderful lunch with our good friends who were visiting from Australia. The menu was varied, the food delicious and the service exemplary. We were even treated to a delicious shared desert with was complimentary and was accompanied by a hand written card from the staff, thanking us and wishing us well. It?s those little extra things that mean so much and make us want to return. Thank you, Mike and Rachel

We had a astor burger and spaghetti tomato sauce.My burger had a bad taste and gave me trouble later. The spaghetti was al-dente but tomato sauce tasted like supermarket. The plaiting and bill was as expected. The people working there was very friendly.

The Astir Grill restaurant was very poor the food was very expensive and bland pasta had no taste at all the burger was hard there was a fight in the kitchen with very bad language used. Offered 25% discount.

We enjoyed a lovely family dinner at the Astor Grill. The food was excellent and the staff could not have been more helpful and friendly. I would thoroughly recommend Cliveden to anyone who has yet to visit.

The food was served rare, cold inside and red in the middle of the fish we were served. They did replace the food but insisted there was nothing wrong with the fish, really. Also, this is supposed to be fine dining and the waiting staff had no skills and were not taught the etiquette of table service and how to hold more than 1 plate at a time!!! Very disappointing service!!!

Our food was served cold and raw, chips were microwaved and soggy. This is supposed to be fine dining and the complete lack of silver service was embarrassing!!! Not worth the high price tag!! Steer clear!!!

Amazing location, great food and great service. It was our daughter's third birthday and Luca and the other staff were great...they even wrote happy third birthday on a plate for her. The Beef Wellington was amazing and better than at the Savoy Grill in my experience... Overall they made it a lovely meal for a special occasion and I would highly recommend it.

We had a wonderful meal to celebrate a special occasion. The ambience and service were both excellent and the beef wellington, in particular, was exceptional (absolutely delicious) although we all enjoyed our various main courses and desserts. Our shared plate flatbread starters were nothing special and we would not really recommend them. We did think that the wine and beer was much too expensive and also the choice was much too limited and this is the reason for not giving five stars. The cheapest wine was £50.00 (and unfortunately not to our taste so we paid more - nearly £70.00 a bottle) and the bottles of beer were from £9.00 to £12.00. For this reason only, we probably won't come back, as we do enjoy a glass or two of wine with our meal (especially food of this standard) and we felt that the wine prices were just unacceptable, particularly based on the quality of the wine but also in comparison to the food prices.

Food is average but overpriced for what you get. Service is so so slow. 50 mins from order to service. Not one to repeat for us.
