Came in with my 2 Children Lyla 5 and Erin 1. Obviously whilst at the cash counter I couldn't hold onto them both so let them walk about (this very family unfriendly bank) just to stretch there legs. They pushed a chair along the floor well she is 1 and then she picked a phone up. Here is where the apauling lack of respect for me, my children and terrible customer service came into play.... One of the members off staff decided it was fine for her to tell my daughter she is a naughty girl. YOUR MEMBER OF STAFF HAS MO RIGHT TO DO THIS!!!! There father me was there to ask if there was an issue. I will definitely be taking my complaint further and asking to see cctv from the incident. I will be removing my accounts from the Co op bank. They and there staff need to get with the times... I have 2 very good young girls and I was in a boring bank with them..... Sort your dated offensive staff out! Or just get rid...

I went to the Co-op this morning ... I had logged into the site earlier ... NO mention of my branch being closed today ... what kind of service is that? 9:30 - 5 Monday to Friday? How many people can get in during those hours? Not all transactions can be dealt with on-line. I have £20.000 in my savings account & was going to see if I could speak with someone about doing something with it ... I guess not. disappointed customer in Cambridge ...

Slow and incompetent. Three weeks after applying for the simplest possible account, they still haven't opened it. I can't even phone the bank because I have to provide photo ID for them to discuss my application. They don't seem to know whether they have all the documents they need from me, or what might be missing. ... A week later, there was still no progress. We gave up and opened an account at Barclays, which was much easier!

Staff have always been friendly and courteous to me, never had to wait as long as some other banks and the online stuff works just fine for me. Besides this they have an ethical policy, unlike all other high street banks, which is why I switched to them in the first place, It's good not having to worry what your bank might be investing in

You cannot please all the people all of the time, but my experience has always been that the staff are very helpful and willing to discuss any query you may have. Co Op Banks have got it right here keeping branches open.
