What a dreadful experience, I appreciate it is a busy period, but the service thus far has been beyond a joke! If I could have chosen less than 1 start I would have done.3 failed attempts to deliver & 3 days I have waited home all day. Called customer services today who agreed to speak with the driver & call me back...no returned call.Tried again a couple of hours later, cut off after 5 minutesTried again, and have arranged collection for tomorrow because I am unable to trust the delivery driver having failed on 3 previous ocassions. A helpful chap called Zac is (I hope) arranging for the package to brought to customer services for my collection tomorrow. This will be a 2.5 hour round trip on top of 3 days waiting at home for failed deliveries

DHL is the worst courier out there. Even Hermes was better than them. The very few times I have had anything come from DHL it has been an absolute nightmare. Deliveries do not come when they say they are coming. With no explanation. I have had parcels delayed and delayed and delayed. Now I have had a courier leave a parcel outside my door without permission and they are taking 0 responsibility for it's loss and saying that the shipper is responsible as the shipper apparently authorised it to be left there. Well I spoke to someone on the phone and told them someone on live chat told me the shipper authorised it so DHL can't really do anything about it. They then corrected me and said no actually, even though the shipper authorised it, the shipper still needed to confirm it with you and they didn't so don't worry, we are going to get in contact with the courier and sort everything out. Well they get back to me and say "the courier who left it says he rang the doorbell and left it outside the upstairs flat - we can't do anything about it because the shipper authorised us to do this" ... repeating exactly what I have been told before and exactly what I told the man on the phone who then reassured me that it doesn't matter they will sort it.. now they are saying the opposite. Shambles, unprofessional service, wouldn't be surprised if they took the parcel back with them. Since when in the history of doing deliveries has the sender been allowed to choose to leave a parcel wherever? It literally says on the tracking that I can choose a safe place. I did not choose a safe place, therefore bear no responsibility for the package being left there.. DHL bears the responsibility but somehow they have wiggled their way out of this one and managed to place the blame on the retailer/shipper who is taking their precious time in resolving this matter. Meanwhile the item I want is going out of stock. This is ridiculous.EDIT: Not much of a parcel investigation was it? You can quite clearly see where the parcel is in the photo they took, they obviously left it upstairs.. why would you even need to ask the actual courier/delivery driver what happened when the photo says it all? What was the whole point in that? ABSOLUTE GREAT INVESTIGATION! FANTASTIC! NOT! How about don't waste everyone's time with these fake attempts at investigation or better yet do the country a favor and shut DHL down already.

I've ordered a phone from China on 26th of August 2023. It was dispatched on 28th and I've collected it from DHL Express Cambridge on 30th!! WTH!! 2 days for a parcel from China!? My experience has been amazing throughout the shipment. Never thought something could be delivered so bloody quickly! 5 stars DHL! 5 stars to customer service too! ??

No queue here when picking up my parcel and the American lady (can't remember her name) was very helpful, polite and happy. It's not often you get service with a smile nowadays!

Arrived to depot after being informed that my parcel is ready to be collected to learn that I cannot have it due to their operational issues and need to come back for it next day. Wasted 3 hours journey. They cannot even offer delivery time slots

Absolutely appalling service. Driver didnt leave item and their customer service number is on a premium rate line unavailable from most mobiles. EDIT: Have already left the number, but thankfully driver returned spontaneously.

Seems I interrupted the staff from chatting with each other behind the door since I had to ring the bell and was given very blunt replies. Was told I only needed photo ID by live chat, was told here I need proof of address too. Turns out they didn't even receive my package from the previous depot! Only a brief sorry given after spending half a day on the trains and buses. Will be chasing up head office about this as I was told by two agents and online tracking that I could collect my package. Really disappointed. You got a package from Osaka to East Midlands Airport in 1.5 days but now I have to wait a week for the last leg of the journey.
