As I walked in I could smell a successful evening. Not only was the restaurant right next to the beautiful river but inside was bright, colourful and very welcoming. There was excellent and kind service throughout and the food topped it all. I loved enjoying the mix of Latin American flavours whilst watching punters glide by, an overall delightful experience for everybody I would recommend each part to anyone.

A chain restaurant, but has a lot of character in the building on quayside so doesn't feel like a chain for the most part. 2 for 1 cocktails is a hard offer to beat, watermelon margaritas, new thing for me. Food is really quite good, above what I expected. Menu is a combination of tapas, Mexican, Brazilian, Argentinian and other south American influences. Highly recommend the banana and plantain pastry's with coconut ice cream, really tasty. Most of the serving stuff are pretty good, but was noticable who the good long timers and the less good short time staff were, but not in a bad way. Only let down was some of the decor, printed menus and one or two other bits could do with a bit of a touch up, but remember it is a chain in a very high footfall part of Cambridge so set your expectations accordingly. We visited dinner time on a Monday, and I can imagine with the cocktails it might get a bit loud on a weekend, but was almost all families when we were there and just right volume wise. One strange thing was the lack of disabled toilets, as the toilets are up two flights of stairs at the rear of the building. That and the decor are the main reason I can only give this a 4, disabled access is a must.

Great food with a decent gluten free menu. Price was fair. But the service is awful. Waited 15 minutes before being able to flag down a waiter (goodness knows how long we would’ve waited for them to come over on their own). We also had to order additional drinks during the meal. It took so long we’d practically finished eating by the time they arrived. I would definitely recommend if you don’t mind waiting and a bit of a noisy restaurant.

I arrived for a late lunch today as I like a place to have calmed down for a quick service. I got the exact opposite to this. I waited close to half an hour to get any interaction from a waiter. When my waiter eventually got to me I stated that I was allergic to shellfish and he said he had to get his manager. I then waited a further 15-20 minutes. By this point I had lost my appetite and decided to leave. For someone who works as a waiter himself for 10 years, I could not believe how bad the service was. I hope that the manager sees this review and responds with some type of explanation. It's a shame as it was my first time to this restaurant and love South American cuisine.

Horrendous service with waiters telling customers to "shh and be quiet" after they messed up our tables order but told us "you ordered the food so you need to pay for it regardless".
Would recommend everyone to avoid at all costs.
Rude waiters, incompetent staff and the food was pretty rubbish too.
