Hadn't been here for ages as it is not the best of places for refreshments. We called in today to get a refund for some slippers that started to fall apart after less than two weeks. Person serving not very bright ! I put the defective slippers on the counter with my receipt at the side of them. I told him one of the slippers was falling apart after less than two weeks. In typical robotic style he uttered, "Have you got your receipt ?" Help!! As we were in there we decided we would just have a tea and cappuccino before walking back for the park and ride bus to return to our car. Queue was not too long but service was, as usual, so slow. The walking art gallery woman serving ought to have her long dyed blonde hair tied back as she was flicking and shaking it about all the time and where food is involved this is not good hygiene practice. Then, as we were sitting and having our drinks we, and several others, were shocked by a bang as a roof tile dropped down on an unfortunate customer sitting a few seats away. Luckily he didn't appear to be injured. I was shocked as well as I have PTSD. There was an area that was screened off for work in progress but it was inadequately guarded and the seats and table should never have been as close to the screened area as they were - as this poor chap discovered ! All in all, a very eventful visit but for the wrong reasons.

Visited on the 29 December 2023. The temperature of the store was unbearable. People all around me were complaining of the heat and feeling dizzy, even your young staff admitted that they felt they were working in a sauna. There is literally no air con and the internal changing rooms are airless and so uncomfortable to even attempt to try clothes on. I couldn?t wait to leave and could not even stand to look at the sale items on offer. GET your act together and provide a decent working environment for your staff and customers!!!! How ever you like to think you are winning with a younger demographic the reality when you look at the average customers in the store are middle aged women and we do not want to be boiling to death when we go shopping. I visited your Norwich store and Ipswich store during the summer and again the temperatures were ridiculously high your cosmetics were melting, it?s impossible to shop comfortably in the temperatures of your stores in East Anglia!!

Second time they have forgot to remove security tag from clothing. I will need to drive 1.5 hours to go back and then have to pay £3 for parking. Incompetent staff.

Excellent customer service in underwear dept. Baya was informed, professional and personable and assisted in locating/advising on items.Unable to give feedback through the App as I do not have my receipt available. App does not appear to allow you to give feedback without proof of purchase!

Ordered online for collection in store, got confirmation, then when no ready for collection e-mail arrived checked website only to see that order had been cancelled for no reason. No e-mail to inform me of that. Very disappointing, never again.

Good all round, high-end supermarket. Lots of authentic wood fired pizzas. Nice panna cotta and good Italian olives.

Cafe in the M&S near the market was very disappointing. The staff were slow and lacking in decent customer service skills. When asked if they had any gluten free options in their sandwich range we were met with a ?no? and the comment we normally do but not today! And no attempt to help get around the issue was offered (there were such sandwiches downstairs in the food hall)

Ordered online with delivery to store - big mistake. The assistant could only find half of my order. Was promised a phone call to let me know when/if found. Nothing. What a waste of a journey and expensive city car parking. I would not order online for store collection again.

I went to this M&S yesterday (24/02/23) and it was excellent the staff were amazing they were very polite, very respectful. There was one staff in particular named Tyler he was a real gentleman for helping me find different various of foods, he fulfilled my purchase, I was very impressed about all staff in general.

Woman at til was curt and inefficient. Forgot to take my payment then wanted to know why I was still stood there! Her colleague looked uncomfortable. Toast was rock hard, avocado too hard to be crushed and poached eggs weird - runny yet cold. I usually rate an M&S cafe, would wouldn?t go back to this one

Went in marks in Sidney St cambridge today, passed probably 8 staff members and not one lifted there head to say good morning. Considering there were no other customers in the store its appalling. Having worked in retail for 53 years I know the importance of it. Dread ful culture
