Standard travel lodge experience. They have a late bar and reception is nice. Location was a great for us.Parking is an issue if you can?t get in the car park. There is on street parking out front though.

A great Travelodge. Room was clean, everything worked as it should and the breakfast was excellent! Hannah on reception was delightful and very helpful.Walkability: 15 minute walk to the city centre.

Dirty room: The first room had food from the previous guests on the floor, toothpaste sprinkles in the bathroom and shampoo foam in the shower. We then got changed to another room. This one has a disgusting chair, a dirty bathtub mat and no soap in the bath. Cleaning is obviously on low level.View from the room on the solar panels shows what other guests might have lost during their stay.Curtain bar is broken and had to be fixed by ourselves. No normal power outlets at the bed, just USB. But even of those, the ones on one side of the bed were broken.Somewhat positive is that the reception staff responds to these problems, but its not good that they even occur. And the staff seems to be used to these problems, so probably its normal for them.Breakfast OK, but nothing special. Cutlerie was rather dirty, but it was possible to find some cleaner ones.Rooms: Rather dirty, not cleaned well, floors generally rather dirtyNearby activities: Not much to do in the neighborhood, but we knew that before.

Breakfast was pretty good for a British hotel. Lots of space to sit quietly and enjoy the food. Room small but completely adequate. Bathroom sink didn't drain properly and shower curtain smelt bad.

A great place to stay during business trips in a central location. The service is great with the only exception being that during hot summer months, because of the lack of air conditioning, it can get pretty warm in the rooms.Overall, it is good value for money, I definitely suggest it.

The lady serving in the bar last Friday evening was very good. One of the men on reception was nice. Parts of breakfast were OK. Other staff clearly resented customers. The hotel is in a horrible area. Rooms were very hot. The noise inside and outside was terrible. The car park is horrendous. My bedroom was very clean, and the bed was comfy.Rooms: Clean. Comfy bed. Very tiny shower room. Poor shower. Room too hot.Walkability: Good 20 minute walk to town.

One of the nicer Travelodges I've stayed at. Clearly well kept and fairly modern looking with very standard but acceptable rooms. The breakfast offerings are nothing to write home about but it was decent enough for a Travelodge. Would happily return to this hotel, however prices could definitely be a bit cheaper.

Hotel (more like a hostel to be honest) on a very busy and noisy main road. Room was alright although bathroom slightly dirty. Reception and bar staff not very friendly, very transactional and rushing through customers. In the bar there was a rowdy and drunken group of customers singing at the top of their lungs at 5.30pm to the detriment of others. Most of all the quality of the food at dinner was AWFUL and a total ripoff. I cannot overstate this. Undercooked meat feast pizza drowning in mozzarella that tasted more like string cheese - it had clearly been bought as the cheapest option from Iceland, frozen and microwaved, disgusting. Server forgot the side of chips, although this was undercooked too and just lightly singed on the outside. Anyone buying the lowest quality pizza and chips from the supermarket could do much better at home.Even for a low budget hotel would expect some basic standards and hospitality but this was awful.

Room was bog standard travelodge, no hand wash in the bathroom. Luckily there was a fan provided as it was boiling! Breakfast was decent. Very noisy in the front room but was expected due to location.

Stayed here for a football match so the location was great as its just down the road from the stadium. The staff on the counter were lovely and very helpful. Only docking a star because there was no soap in the dispenser next to the sink.

I tend to use Travelodge when having an overnight city break with my wife, I like the familiarity, cleanliness, and no fuss.I don't rate this Travelodge however, the website quotes £8 for 24 hours parking, they don't explain that if you stay overnight that you get charged for two days. The room had numerous stains on the carpet, and the mattress or protector stank.Breakfast was very 'unfriendly', admittedly we did arrive a little late, but my wife and I were surprised that food and cutlery were being removed whilst we were still eating. All together a disappointing experience ?

Rooms are clean and generous, good mattresses and fans provided to help deal with summer heat. Staff are young and not attentive and food takes an age to arrive. I had issues finding car parking as well. Overall an okay stay, its what you expect for the price.

Not sure what it is about Travelodge but they always seem ever so slightly shabby compared to their major rival Premiere Inn. Room was compact, you had to pay more for a "Superroom", i.e. a normal sized room. One window catch was broken and there was no soap in the shower room. Clothes hanging space was minimal, there was no hairdryer, you had to ask at reception. No air-con so room very stuffy. We arrived in pouring rain so thought we would eat in. However, the menu was uninspiring food they obviously get presupplied and just put in a microwave

Upon checking in there was a lot of confusion on paying for parking which was a huge stressor and clearly there was a lot of miscommunication going on. after a long day looking forward to a shower ? there was no shower gel. Then I got into bed with a long black hair ? I?m blonde. Although the rest of the room was adequate I have reason to believe the bedding was cleaned throughly if someone else?s hair was in it. The corner of the bedside clearly hasn?t been cleaned properly either as there was a lovely thick layer of dust and grime that I would assume gathered over a fair amount of time. The wifi also didn?t work which was quite frustrating.Had I not have paid £110 for the room I probably wouldn?t have minded so much however it was rather a disappointing experience. However the woman at the desk were friendly, i dont remember their names but one I believe was the assistant manager according to her tag.

Very noisy travel lodge - do not recommend for anyone who needs to sleep while staying here. People hanging outside the front doors ( by the bar ) drinking and smoking from 12 till 3:30am. The staff said there is nothing they can do about It. Room and hotel was clean.
