It's OK. It used to be better. Truck parking is expensive for NO security. The majority of the truck parking area lights are off making very dark. Not only is this a security concern but a health and safety problem due to trip hazard and moving vehicle danger.The showers used to be really good but are in need of maintenance and repair now. With damage and faulty showers. What would have been a daily maintenance fix is now turning into a refurbishment.Cleaning standards are not so good either.It's a shame for what is a relatively new building not to be maintained and looked after like it should be.On the plus side, it's still one of the better service stations in the UK. But compared to the ones in Europe, which are mostly free parking, it's average .Update ,Almost all the truck parking lights are now working, which is good. Repair works are being done in the showers again good. I hope what appears to be smoke damage is going to be rectified as well.It's good to see work being done .Improvement.

Lots of eating options for a break on a long drive, for example. Large parking area, only 2 EV chargers that I could see (maybe more elsewhere) and both working.

Tried to park 4 coaches for rest stop with passengers, as normal trucks everywhere, so carried onto another rest stop

For casual trips its good. For truck drivers it is not good. Owners should invest into security. You could only benefit from it. High security = more trucks = more money. Fence of minimum 1.8 meters is required, CCTV, guard (with regular patrols) and strict access only for trucks and trailers (reefers must be accepted of course) when it comes to truck parking, without a possibility for a car, van or small truck to enter (small truck is up to 15 pallets).
