Do not trade any items in this store. They have to 'check the tills' to see if there is enough cash in till and told to try my luck another day. We are taking our items to a competitor now. We will never shop at GAME again.

Made 3 trips amounting to 40 miles to sell my PS4. 2 times was told they don't have cash in the till to do it and to take my chances visiting again, and the last time was told it doesn't accept discs despite getting home and it working fine. Now sold to a competitor without an issue and will be using them for future purchases.

I bought a bluetooth turtle beach headset in that was faulty and claimed on my insurance. I'm a vulnerable adult with Aspergers and ADHD. Instead of them replacing the headset with a like for like. They game me a headset that requires a dongle to get it to connect. The headset that I bought originally cost more than the headset they replaced it with. My original headset didn't require a dongle to connect to my Xbox . When they replaced the headset that didn't require a dongle with one that was cheaper and did require a dongle, the staff member lied to me saying it it was the same as the one I originally had but the only difference is the colour instead of it being white they only had a black one in stock. They made no effort to tell me that it required a dongle to connect it . Instead they told me it was exactly the same as the one I bought in to make a insurance claim on. I honestly believe they knew I was stressed out and they knew by not replacing it with a like for like they were breaking the law and hoping because of my disability that I wouldn't notice. I didn't notice it required a dongle to connect it untill I got home and tested it out. Basically they took advantage of my disability so that they could get away with breaking the law. Worst thing is they made me sign a form that said they were replacing it with a like for like after they lied to me about. Which then gets them out of being held accountable for this.

Went into game in sports direct at Bretton to buy a Xbox controller, when we got it home it was faulty after taking it back to the shop with the receipt was told the serial numbers didn't match,it would seem to me another one was but into the box.I paid £50 for a faulty controller, and the store assistant was rude too.Always open boxes and check serial numbers Infront of staff before leaving the shop to avoid being scammed.

Now that they have reopened in Sports Direct the stock they have is very limited and to be honest nothing like it use to be as a stand alone shop. Feels more like an after thought than a shop

Bought an item and 2 transactions were made in same instant. As I didn?t save the receipt no refund was given?.. contacted customer service and been ignored?.Won?t shop in GAME again.

I hadnt been in to this store before but was looking for a birthday present for my nephew. I have to admit, I am pretty clueless about technology and gaming. But I neednt have felt silly - the staff member I dealt with ( I think his name was Matt) could not have been more helpful and patient with me. He talked me through a couple of different products to help me decide which one was the most suitable, which was very much appreciated. My nephew was very pleased with his gift. Great customer service, I will be back again.

Well this was a new experience not having been in here before. Just as well my wife knee what was needed, as most of the items on display seemed totally foreign to me. Oh to be young again! So staff were helpful, giving us a choice and explaining the benefits of either option. Now that is good customer service in my book. ???

The store is always fully stocked, the staff are nice and knowledgeable, but the games can be a bit pricey
