Sadly my mum didn?t get an item put into her bag when she paid for her goods at checkout. We were right next to the checkout and had our receipt and we went through the bag emptying it so that we could show we didn?t have it but were told it had been bagged and there was nothing that could be done. My mum is almost 90 hard of hearing but if she paid for something she should?ve received it - disappointed for her as she was very upset and confused by the whole situation - I left my number for someone to call me when it was found. I?m hoping someone does.

Medium size store. Lots choices. Clean well laid out. Food department quite big. Rest rooms available. Cafe there, very good nice helpful staff. Cheerful. Holiday money exchange there. Inside Queensgate. Lots parking. Main bus station there. Disabled friendly. Train station not to far.

Just visited your cafe, opens at 9 always a queue but today only one person, taking orders, payments and fulfilling coffee orders. A long queue out the door, two people filling cakes who made no attempt to help by opening the 2nd till. Finally resorting to me requesting for amanager attend to take charge. Placed order, waited a reasonable time thinking it was being freshly cooked, oh no lukewarm at best. A miserable 3xperie ce shall mot be doing g that agai .

No trays only the ones on the dirty tables still full of dirty crockery. Floor covered in food detritus, 1300 hrs only one checkout open long waits. No teaspoons had to ask and brought two wooden ones held by the bowl in his dirty hands. One person supposed to be cleaning the tables but delivering food in between without washing his hands. Chipped milk jug. Very quiet not surprisingly we won?t be back!

Very limited food choices for lunch and overpriced food and drinks. There is always a huge queue at the Brotherhood branch, staff seem to take ages to make hot drinks when it would be more efficient to have two staff operating tills and another two completing drinks orders and taking them to tables. For the small, snack style lunches they provide I feel that £8 is unacceptable. Small portions and very few choices for children. They've also recently changed their closing times, which is frustrating. The store is open until 8pm, I often used to pop in for a coffee and cake after work, but the close at 5.30pm! Very disappointing. This retail park needs somewhere decent for people to eat! M & S have an opportunity to profit from this but the current provision is really poor.

Although we enjoy our food and drink at this outlet, we find it is often understaffed and the result is the café is often not as clean and tidy as you would expect. The few staff work hard reducing the waiting time. There is often no plates and a limited amount of cakes to chose from because they have not been replenished.

No rush by staff to get the queue moving, no staff, older lady at the till and coffee machine. 10 minute wait, no apology, think Nero will get my order next time, shame on you M&S
