Had a appointment 1210 Thursday.. people arrived for appointment after mine.. asked if they had forgotten me.. told they had put my papers in.. after 1 hour decide to leave .spoke to person on reception he said my problem..basically he did not care about me..

Very good experience - as always! Helpful and knowledgeable staff. I have tried different opticians in the past but they were nowhere near as good as specsavers. I'm very happy with my new glasses.

Twenty min wait. Eye 'photo'? Puff test (glaucoma) - OOD?Saw Simon. I had 4 ingrowing eye lashes. Painless, all done (with a smile) in 5 minutes. Oh the relief. Simon explained the NHS approach, call in any time.Thanks Simon.

It's okay, it does the job. However there is always such a long long wait no matter what you go in there for. If its for an eye test expect to be a good hour and half at the very least!! And picking up your glasses are a good half hour/ 45 minutes!

I've been coming here to this exact branch for god know how many years. It disappointed me to see them savings my name wrong hence causing issues when coming for appointments as well as the amount of bin waste scattered on the floor with no regards to customer input around having tones of staff sitting around who could give the place a quick tidy up. Apparently at weekends they don't have cleaners. I'm sorry that no excuse for common sense. Even the small tray on the middle desk at the back was scruffy and unkept. This to myself shows how unprofessional this team are today. I would advise you to train the management team on today and retraining the lower team on re-registering existing customers correctly.

Do not use Specsavers especially this branch.The optician falsely claimed that my son needed further specialist tests causing costing hundreds of pounds. After paying for the tests which were never done. When my son asked for a refund he was refused. He has just had his eyes tested at Vision Express and he was told no further tests were needed and that Specsavers are known for this practice. Avoid Specsavers at all costs!!

I?ve been going here for years. The optometrist Simon is amazing, truly professional, friendly, and an expert in his field. He has done two of my sight tests and my family are now seeing him too! Highly recommend. 5 stars!

We visited the Peterborough Specsavers for an eye test on 22 Sept. The eye test and customer service was very good. We went to the Peterborough branch because two years ago we visited another Specsavers and the customer service was very poor, the optician who examined us both had poor communication skills,he was abrubt and gave the impression he couldn't care less. The person who then fitted our specs was pleasant but failed to fit them correctly. We revisited them for an adjustment, but they still don't fit. The Peterborough branch have now sorted this out.The person in Peterborough who then dealt with us regarding taking measurements etc for new specs, was really excellent. They couldn't have been more helpful.The reason for only 4 stars is that we had to collect the new specs this week and booked for 10.30am on 10 Oct. We had rebooked this on 9 Oct . When we arrived aroudn 10.20am, we were asked to sit and wait to be called. At 10.40am, I asked if there was a problem and was told that they didn't know why we were asked to come at 10.30am as the person we were meeting didn't start work until 11.30am. We were asked to come back at 11.30am. We therefore returned aroudn 11.25am and was told the person we needed to see had other clients at 11.30am and we would have to wait even longer. As it happens we did see the correct person at 11.30am but this then pushed back another client who wasn't happy.You have excellent opticians and excellent people dealing with fitting the specs, but your colleagues, front of house, really need training in how to use the diary.
