Hotel location is not glamorous or pretty but the staff was friendly and helpful, The room was very clean and smelled fresh and the overall cleanliness of the hotel was of a good standard. There is a Starbucks on site if you don't want the breakfast box

Fantastic helpful staff but the company takes 3 days to get back to you. We needed to phone to loo for lost property . trying to get past their system to just speak to someone was impossible and too 3 days.

Smelly reception area but nice and clean room. Only problem was that we didn't enjoy our stay due sleepless night during to noise from motorway. This was mentioned to a staff member who made failed promises to follow up

Very comfortable overnight break on our trip south. Lovely clean room with an excellent bathroom. Every member of staff helpful, pleasant and friendly. TV and WiFi both good... Better to eat before arrival.

Stayed here when visiting family, great little hotel. New carpets as well! Was on the front of the hotel but was still quiet even with being next to the A1. Thanks to Sean and Nikita helping me find places to eat. Room was very clean and tidy.

The hotel is situated right next to the highway A14 , and there is a fuel station /shop opposite the road where you can get your food and drinks . Service wise, Travelodge assistant Umar was a nice lad provided quick and efficient service during check in . The hotel room are you normal Travelodge room , it's generally clean.One downside are the television set ,needs a bit of updating and sometimes the remote doesn't seem to work. There are other Travelodges with bigger better TV which makes the stay much better.Rooms: TV needs updating

Stopped overnight to break up a long journey. There are no shops etc like normal services, just a starbucks and the hotel itself is a motel- there is no bar or snacks, there is a limited vending machine. The rooms are clean but hot like saunas (at least ours at the front was). There's no air con, so it's either cook to death and don't sleep, or have the windows open and get kept awake by the noise from the A1. There was a small fan which didn't help alot.In comparison to most travel lodges, this is more like a motel.There is a service stop a short drive away, but there is no fridge in the room so couldn't take anything back.We paid £85 which given there are zero facilities or air con, I think is very steep.The staff were absolutely lovely, and the location is good for an overnight if travelling on A1 and tired. If I stayed again I'd only stop if I could have a room at the back of the place.
