Would not heat up a cheese toastie at 2.35pm as the oven was closed, had a latte and that was disgusting, tried to ask a staff member why it oven was off when they were open for another hour and 25 minutes and she just walked away

I was going home from my garage and because cars and their parts are usually oily I was a bit dirty and I had my jeans ripped from the job earlier that day. I stopped at Waitrose and went inside to do some shopping while I was expecting my missus to join me few minutes later. So once I walk in I get looks from the staff.. I get it, it?s a bit fancy shop right??? I thought whatever it?s fine. So I went to the meat section and got myself a pack of 2 veal burgers. I decided to check on the other stuff and whilst I was walking I tried to put my wallet into my jackets inner pocket. The security guard right away came to me accusing me of stealing. He thought i was trying to put my burgers there or something... I was showing my wallet which at that point was fully in the pocket but he just looked at me and said ?you know what you doing? without explaining himself. I asked him is he seriously thinking that I?m going to put a big plastic case of burgers into a tiny pocket but he was just ignoring me, didn?t listen to me at all so I asked him right away is it because I?m dirty? Like I?m some kind of homeless dude who can?t afford food here. He was just keep saying "you know what you doing" blah blah blah, not listening to me at all, so I asked him to check cameras but he refused. Also asked him to explain what exactly he means by "you know what you doing".. He just walked away, checking on me while I was there in the shop..Is there a dress code to Waitrose? I really need to know..Can we do shopping on the way home from work? Or do we need to dress up to meet Waitrose standard I wasn?t aware of?What a bunch of disgusting and delusional people?

Visited your store on the 28th of November to purchase some lambertz cake decorations. We could not find the product but asked one of your partners whose name was Locksley, who most helpful and went the extra mile to find the product on your system and at which branches actually stocked it. This saved time looking around the store and we were able to locate a local branch. Well done Locksley.

Absolutely rude cafe staff, the staff staff, refused to heat toasted sandwiches up at 2 30 in the afternoon, when it clearly said the cafe shuts at 4pm, tried to talk politkey to a member of staff, to be rudkey ignored(the waitrose near train station)

Recent expansion of self checkout at the expense of manned tills will not please everyone. New self checkout units struggle to scan money off vouchers on phones.

First time in there for a long time. Nipped in to get a sandwich as I was early for a train. Items marked as being in they're quite expensive meal deal weren't when scanned at the till. Then other items were marked at the wrong price. Being conscious of the time I didn't feel able to query anything. I don't feel I can trust prices in this store and will hence avoid.

O'dear, the service at the tills is getting worse, as now they only have four tills open, the rest is taken up by self service only. It was bad enough trying to get served before with i guess were maybe eight tills, and usually only two or even one manned the times i shop there, which is on a regular basis. It's a good job they have manned counters that sell fresh meat, fish and cheese which are excellent btw, otherwise i would think of going elsewhere.

I would like to say what a delightful experience it was to meet Loxley at checkout yesterday. He was so pleasant it really opened my eyes to how miserable a lot of shop workers are these days. He made me smile. He is a credit to Waitrose Peterborough.

Always a great place to come shopping. Good quality produce, at higher prices than other supermarkets but that's to be expected due to the quality. Nice café too, and convenient for commuters as it's next door to the train station. The only negative is the lack of staff (Partners) available to help or man the checkouts at busy times. The last few times I've been in, I've not seen many people.Overall an excellent supermarket with fab quality food and drink.

Great products! Yes some can be a little more expensive but quality is good. If you are carefully you can pick up some bargains. Waitrose is good for occasional treats too and that one unusual ingredient you may need for a recipe. Always a treat to come here!

I think the store was built in the wrong place. The location would have been ideal for a new bus station and the space used by the existing bus station to extend Queensgate. I have used the cafe here many times. Met the manager today (Simon - 13th October 2023) and told him it's a great store and great staff.
