A lovely visit, well kept and staffed all round. In the summer I can imagine the Walled Garden will be magnificent, and it still was lovely even when we visited. Lots to explore and you coild easily spend a whole day here. The café needed more staff as there was a long queue and only one person serving and operating the till.

New playground area is still sparred off, despite the drier period and limited water, masses of disappointed parents and children wondering why they pay so much to get in. Useless.

Lovely place. Expansive gardens and estate (including home farm and play area).House is very beautiful, although undergoing some restoration during our visit due to water ingress. We particularly enjoyed exploring the basement areas, including the housekeeper and steward's rooms. David, one of the volunteers was very informative and helpful.Mobility scooters and wheelchairs can be booked. There is also a buggy to take you to various areas if the estate.

Came here on a stop on the way home. Have been many times before since 1978! A drink, a toilet break and a 5 mile walk, love it. Forgot it was half term so busy with lots of kids/families etc. But they congregated around the main house area, soon found solitude in the wider park. The only gripe was using the EV charging points which is a bonus by the way. It really should be made more visible that you will be charged £15 when you swipe your card as a holding fee. This to be released in 5 days when your actual usage will be charged. I had to chase up RAW the providers to clarify this point. Don't know why they can't complete this process as soon as you disconnect.

Visited this Feb half term with grandchildren. Very friendly and welcoming staff. On the farm, could only get close to the pigs. Two beautiful shires tethered at the back of their stables behind two sets of fences, so very hard to see. Main cafe had disappointing range of food with no local produce which we have enjoyed at other NT attractions. Other cafe had no fresh food at all. After a long queue it was disappointing that a few people were reserving whole tables as their parties queued and it was difficult to find a table. There are ways of managing this! House is excellent with nice range of historic rooms to see and knowledgeable staff ready to answer questions - especially welcoming with the children. Gardens, park and grounds beautiful with lots of car parking. Nobody checking tickets. I am wondering if everybody had paid the full price which includes the house, which you are meant to in order to see the farm. The farm was busy but the house was quiet!

Very interesting estate with oodles of history. Stunning house and gardens. Walled garden, farm (piglets), cafes, play area making a full day out. The house could only be seen through the tour due to time of year, and we were very fortunate to get onto the last tour at 1.30pm. We had the privilege of the House Manager Ian to show us round with his colleague who did amazingly well as first timer. Both was passionate and enthusiastic about the history and decor. His colleague we discovered was classicist and English scholar of Ancient Rome (we mention no name ?, thanks Prof B and Ian for a memorable tour!)

Beautiful Christmas light display. Well staffed and sign posted. First time this year and definitely won't be our last.

So the price is high, the food is extortionate but the experience is great. The issue we had was last year it took us nearly 2 hours to get round, this time it?s much smaller and 45mins?? Lots missing like the lasers the heart you walk through. Not a disaster but the price didn?t reflect it. Last year was amazing and that set the bar high. This year it was just good

Had such a fantastic time at the Christmas lights at the Wimpole Estate, we'll definitely be back again next year!! We don't have kids and we went with a couple of friends on Fri 29 Dec and I wasn't expecting much (despite the £15 entry price), but it was worth every penny - they really did put a huge amount of work and creativity into the designs and layout and it's spread over a huge amount of the grounds and took about 60-90 mins to walk around the entire thing. We had a delightful time and whether you have kids or not there's plenty to enjoy.

We went to Christmas Light Trail, which was simply amazing. The only downside was the prices of food and drink. £5 for a hot chocolate and £10 for a hot dog!!!

A fantastic place to visit for Christmas decoration and music. Perfectly managed from buying tickets to Signage to the venue and car park, helpful staff all around the area. I am so glad that I tool the kids there it was so soothing to walk around this beautiful place in the afternoon listening to the songs while my daughter jumped around singing and taking pictures. The Santa was the highlight of entertainment next time I will by him a hot chocolate . ?
