A very good store, always has a lot of different products and other goods in stock. The rating was reduced due to several factors. 1. Inconvenient access by car from Newmarket Road. A hundred meters earlier, if you drive from the center, there is the entrance to the TESCO hypermarket parking lot. Since there is a public transport lane on the left, about thirty meters before the intersection, markings on the road allow drivers to move into the left lane in advance and then conveniently turn left to the TESCO store. Why not do it at ALDI too? Instead, drivers have to make a sharp left from the second lane, where the entrance is very narrow, and then have to immediately make a sharp left and a sharp right. Who came up with such a balancing act? Is this parking for cars or scooters? Minus one point!2. In order to take the grocery trolley, you need to have a £1 coin with you. What a last century, only ALDI and LIDL stores have paid grocery carts. That is, if I have a coin lying around with me, I can go to the store, but what if there is no coin? Then go to a store of another chain? Rave. By the way, the ALDI store on Histon Road has solved this problem. They simply placed plastic carts with wheels and a retractable telescopic handle at the entrance to the store, which do not require any coins. Why doesn't this store have this? After all, these are stores of the same chain! Apparently, customer convenience is not a priority for this store. Well, there are chain stores nearby: TESCO, LIDL, ASDA, don?t forget about it. Minus one point for the carts.3. Very inconvenient counters near the cash register for putting food into bags, or rather their complete absence. There is simply nowhere to put the bag. Due to the lack of coin, I had to take two hand baskets, as I was planning a large grocery purchase. But it?s impossible to put groceries into a bag at the checkout; there?s simply nowhere to put the bag, you have to put it on the floor. I don?t know who it is, but personally, I?m just disdainful of putting my bag on the floor, and I don?t have a back made of steel to constantly bend over, putting groceries into a bag on the floor. To my question, the seller replied that the cash registers are designed to serve customers with carts. The circle is closed! No coin - no cart. No cart means no convenience at the checkout. Well, it would be nice to have at least a self-service department, like in the same ALDI store on Histon Road. At least there is somewhere to put the bag, and not on the floor. But this is not the case! Only cash registers with cashiers. Why couldn?t it be done like in the LIDL store located across the street, where the tables at the checkout are much more convenient and there are no problems? Apparently, ALDI decided that there were enough sellers and buyers for their life. As a result, the store is new, but the problems are old. Minus one point for inconvenient cash registers. Total: A store that deserves five stars receives only two stars due to unsolvable organizational problems! It's time for store management to turn their attention to customers.

Aldi may not have the most extensive range, but what it has, it does well. To be honest the things I do buy here are better than even the most expensive supermarket. The coffee is excellent, beer is outstanding, the protein yoghurts and mousses are also great. The wagyu steaks have spoilt me and I do not eat steaks in restaurants any more as these are so good. When I was in today, they were pretty much out of the steaks, apparently they put them out first thing. Anyway, I politely asked and Max was great and went out back and got me some. Max was great, but I must add I do find all the staff are very friendly and helpful.

Visited this store today will probably avoid in future due to a miserable staff member.

Cost effective option for groceries. Aldi at Newmarket road does not have self check-out option.
