Absolutely love Waterstones! The staff are always incredibly helpful and cheerful. We've just got back from a fabulous free event where local author Philip Boyd read one of his books. There were crafty bits to do afterwards too! Thank you so much, we're so lucky to have such a great bookshop on our high street.

Kicked me out because I was reading aloud my favourite erotic harry potter fanfiction! I simply cannot read without speaking (its a special thing) and I was rudely told by staff to leave! Very disableism

Great bookshop, with a good range for all ages. Excellent, cheerful and knowledgeable staff who went above and beyond to find a board game from another store for me. St. Neots is very lucky to have this shop on our high street! Thank you ?!

So grateful we have a bookstore and more on our high street to hold and view physical products. Picked up some games for our nephews and niece as Chistmas gifts last weekend. The click and collect via the website works well too.

This is part of a string of bookshops and the manager is extremely knowledgeable. Such things do not exist in my country.

Don?t appreciate their policy after July 19th easing to still be asking customers to wear masks- I?m taking my business elsewhere, online in fact where it is cheaper & freedom of choice is respected.

As an avid reader, some may feel the same as me when I say that there is no better smell than a fresh book. So where else to go other than Waterstones? I went to the one in St Neots yesterday to fill some time and buy a few books I'd had my mind on recently. This store is super clean, books well taken care of and displayed. It's beautiful. However when I walked in, I was not greeted with a "good morning" or even so much as a eye contact by the young lady behind the till. Despite my walking around looking lost, both shop assistants completely ignored my presence no matter which part of the shop I was in. One of the ladies was busy helping someone further at the back and looking on their system for a book for them but still walked straight past me without a hello or a prompt to her colleague that perhaps I'd need some help. I'm a confident person so of course I considered approaching them and asking for help but having stood there being the only one at the front of the shop floor and purposely being ignored, I decided against spending my money there. and went to Amazon instead.
