After spending 40+yrs in the carpet business,I was very pleased t find the whole experience very pleasant, from ordering through to fitting a striped carpet on my strs /landing perfectly matched up by Darren the fitter who also couldn't do enough t help hadmy kitchen done tday oonce again great price great fitters and job well done cheers

Managed to get someone in quickly to come and measure. No one called to give me prices and kept phoning to find out what is going on but no answer on the phones leaving multiple messages on answer machine. I went to the store, managed to get a price, ordered my carpet and left a deposit.I was told the day before fitting that not all the carper was in stock as there was a mix up and the bosses nephew oversold and what was meant for me went to another customer. So they can fit some rooms but not all. The remainder needs to be ordered from I believe they said Egypt. Anyway, gave them the benfit of the doubt. In places the first install has gone flat in places but the 2nd install is normal with the same pile as the day it was fitted. It's like the 1st install carpet is defective. I've only noticed this defect over a few months.Due to the price I gave recommendation to a friend of mine. Once again, quick to come and measure. I've been at her house during installation and they have been very slow. They have left the house in a poor state and 3 days in still not finished. I feel like due to her being female the team have been quite rude and dismissive within communication. They have left glue stains on the lino, allot of mess and most of all you can see the lines under the lino from the hardboard that has been fitted has either not been fitted correctly or the lino has not been pulled tight enough. The older fitter has been rude whilst in my friends house and put cushions from her sofa on the ground outside when it has been raining and couldn't understand why I was disgruntled and couldn't see any issue with it. He then went on to put the sofa on freshly cut grass. In the end I had to assist with the uplift to attempt speed things up whilst they took their 1 hour lunch break. 4 rooms lino in 3 days and still a bathroom to go. The communication between the team has been poor and they keep passing blame onto one another. The fitter stated he was briefed prior and apparently no uplift even though it had been paid for. No bathroom just 4 rooms so basically didnt have enough. The fitter was very cocky and basicly stated the people in office dont know what they are doing. Sending messages to the boss and reading the replies back "as planned" pulling faces. My friend deserves an apology and discount for the way she has been treated, how the house has been left, poor instalation and for the length of time it has taken.I would also like someone to come and look at my carpet. I can understand if I brought cheaply however I purchased a deep pile at the higher end and have expensive high quality underlay.I have attempted to make communication via email to keep this out of public domain however I've been unable to find an email address to do so.Edit * seeing as you blocked me on messenger and dont wish to conversate ill respond to your response.The underlay that I purchased was brand new called cloud 9 and your fitters was impressed with the thickness and quality. The carpet has gone flat in a unused room. It appears the pile goes multiple directions. Granted I got discount due to your company incompetence.The box of blades is not empty and you have not commented on the quality of fit to lino whereby the hardboard is showing through.I've told you about my experience received from the fitter. Different people are entitled to their own view and perception I've just provided you with factual information of events that took place.Would be awesome if you could leave a contact email address to make a formal complaint prior to progressing to small claims court if required.

I like this store, used their Downham mkt warehouse until it closed and now use the Wisbech one. Like the people, like the prices, love the selection and like the fitters

5* - absolutely love Wisbech Carpet Warehouse. We are renovating a house with difficult stairs and room sizes. They couldn?t have been more welcoming and helpful. Prices were phenomenal - very good value for money. Darren is very knowledgeable. They?ve carpeted 3 rooms, stairs and a landing for us so far. Would recommend and definitely use in the future!
