“This was our first trip to the hotel despite living closely for many years. We were attending a close friends wedding and were lucky enough to stay the night. I believe the hotel is undergoing a huge refurbishment and from what we saw at the weekend it is being completed to a very high standard. The reception area is warm and welcoming, the bar area is cosy yet modern, and extremely comfortable with plush materials and soft furnishings. This was carried up to our newly decorated room, which for once had everything we needed in all the right places! The staff here are extremely attentive, special mention to Jake who looked after us so well. The whole team that was around that day need complimenting - we were always met with a smile and nothing was too much trouble. The wedding food was delicious, we all had the most wonderful time! We will definitely be returning, already planning our sons birthday meal in the stunning restaurant. Thank you so much.”
