Beautiful pub with lovely wines and atmosphere. Note: Only BT open access wifi and very poor net network.Wheelchair accessibility: Great. The doors are a bit sticky. Pull the left one and opens fine.

I had Christmas dinner with my nieces family,the food was delicious, I had the turkey and it was amazing,very few restaurants can cook it properly,but they did here,it was juicy and full of flavour,as was the trimmings,the staff were amazing and attentive,highly recommend.??

Got served by Kerry this evening. Great service and great food in a lovely atmosphere. Have been a few times before, and have a table booked for December with a group of friends really looking forward to it. We had a lovely table by the window. Deffintly recommend this pub/restaurant.

My partner and I visited The Oakwood at the end of May 2023, and the food, service, and atmosphere was excellent. It was neither underpriced nor overpriced, and we were really happy to pay what it cost.We returned today, 16th July 2023, to find that it was a completely different place. The menu had changed, with the best items removed, and a total of 7 main dishes, 3 of which were burgers. We were really looking forward to visiting after our astounding visit last time, but today was a real disappointment. Who decided to get rid of the mixed grill and the steak?!I'm not too sure whether this has changed hands or not, but I'm really confused as to why its changed so much (unfortunately for the worse) within two months!Bring back the old menu!

Came here for Xmas dinner and the staff were very warm and welcoming they were very accommodating and went above and beyond to make our Christmas as special as it could be. The food was great and the atmosphere was fun. Thanks for our Christmas meal!
