Stopped by today to drop off some items. We arrived 10 minutes before the shop was due to close, on arrival there were people exiting the door and locking up. We asked if we can drop off and the lady quite rudely stated they were closed. We asked if we could make a donation as she hadn't yet locked the door. She went into an explanation about buses and needing to close. In the time it took her to explain she could've taken the donation and have had the door locked. Instead we had to point at the opening times and explain that they were still open. She reluctantly took our donation. Not a very pleasant member of staff. Its absolutely fine if you shut early on Sundays, but you should update your signage and Google opening times so they reflect reality.

Yet it has a wide range of products to offer you, you just have to choose the right time to go in with the shop being slightly on the narrow side.

This is my favourite charity shop in Chester! It is in a great location and has a wide selection of books and DVDs. The staff are always very friendly, often having a chat with you whilst you are paying. The store is well-stocked and clean.
