“Not the biggest car park though can park in front of boots. A great place to shop with brilliant prices, friendly staff and easy to walk around. Just try to go and non peak times as can get quite busy and the queues can be quite long.”

“Massive choice and they have a good range of veggie stuff. Bags of Linda McCartney sausages are way cheaper in here than elsewhere. The hash browns are the best around too. Much bigger and better shape than the supermarket own brands.”

“Local shop with the following amenities- Evri (Hermes) drop off point, label machine (QR code required) Amazon packageless returns- ATM (no charge)- Paypoint- Lottery- Fresh fruit/veg/chilled/frozen/Alcohol- BBQ items in summer and fuel in winterCurrently no hot drinks/food but lovely sandwich shop next door and pizza shop further down.”

“Love Waitrose Chester BUT why has the entrance from the disabled car park to the lifts never been repaired it is so hard for some disabilities to get from front entrance to lifts and same in reverse.”

“Great facility a real help to the elderly to have a convenience store they can wall to. Stafford all brilliant friendly and helpful. Shop is well presented and good stock of most things you need.”

“Sainsbury’s is Sainsbury’sNothing really to report but was an very confusing layout but got everything but baking paper had to go to Wilkos for itQuite hard to review Sainsbury’s isn’t it but here it is it was the Sainsbury’s not too big, not too small, but a medium size stocks, one of everything and like I said above no baking parchment paper, so we had to go to Wilkos, but otherwise it was fine, you could get roughly everything you wanted. We were staying in a self catering Airbnb, so we only needed a little bit in the sufficed .”

“Display laid out with plenty of room for disabled access. Shelves on the first floor were sparse and untidy because of new year sales but the staff were doing a sterling job to try and keep on top of it”

“A handy, clean, tidy and well stocked local convenience type corner shop with excellent level of customer service. From alcohol to condoms to fresh and frozen goods,it has 90% of what any one needs. It has to be said that prices not are not keen as a supermarket but then that's the nature of the corner shop.”

“Great Spar. Partly because of its convenient opening times. Partly because it is cleaner and better laid out than many other convenience stores including other Spar branches. Also has Greggs Bakery in store! But mostly a thumbs up for the friendly helpful staff especially Jim "Jimmy" who made each person he served smile on my visit ☺️”

“Excellent shop that sells everything from groceries to toys to car maintenance products. Always clean and well laid out. Also the Post Office within the shop is THE ONLY Post Office worth using. The staff know what they are doing and the counter is open on Saturday's unlike everywhere else.”

“Good shop and generally well stocked. Open long hours and useful when you just need to grab a few essentials. You can leave your car outside for a couple of minutes as you nip in and generally you should be ok. Highly recommended.”

“We had been visiting the attractions near and needed somewhere to top up the electric in our car. Most Morrisons stores now have some form of electric charging stations. While using the pods we popped in store and got some snacks while we waited for the car. The car park was fairly busy but still accessible enough to manoeuvre around. Only two pods available here we need more installed.”

“Im type 1 diabetic and felt a hypo coming on so went into the shop to get something sweet, all i remember is a member a staff asking if was waiting for change from the till as i must of been stood there looking abit spaced out. Informing her i was diabetic she kindly told me to take a seat so i could bring my sugars back up and safely be on my way, thank you to this member of staff, i will be back to find out your name, show my appreciation and make your store manager knows of this situation and how you prevented it from getting worse”

“Since Morrisons have taken it over from McColls, it’s been much better, good selection of fresh and cupboard foods. Staff always very helpful and shelves always well stocked. Highly recommended.”

“Dropped into Costco Tyre centre in Chester to take off my spare tyre and replace. Guys have recommended changing another one as it was worn too. They have not only changed the two tyres but swapped rear with front tyres and adjusted them. My car did not drove that good in months! Simple solution but what an amazing outcome! Thank you guys! Quick and amazing service!!”

“Would like to give a shoutout to Thom, I couldn’t find paneer on the aisle , since I was going on a vacation the next day , it was really important for me. Though he was on his break, still paused for my sake and picked up paneer from the back stock . Very friendly and helpful”

“Handy little Tesco Express store. There are a few free parking spaces directly outside the store. Popped in here to grab a meal deal - had a pretty good selection. Couple of self service checkouts which is always good to see.”

“Sainsbury’s been a little bit of a walk from the skate clock for where we were staying. Had absolutely everything you could possibly need. We got a full weeks supply from here and we got the top bits from Sainsbury’s just across the road but otherwise Tesco had everything it was self checkouts, mainly with one person scanning. It was really big for Tescos extra. I think it was on the verge of being a big Tesco’s, but otherwise it works perfectly for us. It’s a Tesco’s so what do you expect?”

“Great Customer Service and care. My young toddler tripped on his way in to the store and bumped his head- Niall went the extra mile even when the store was busy to get my son an ice pack for his head and made sure he was ok. Above and Beyond - thanks Niall”

“Staff great. Store Well stocked. When I was unable to find nutritional yeast B12 for vegans in the free from section 2 staff did a thorough hunt for me. None in stock but impressed by effort and customer service. On balance I don't like the pharmacy here though v busy not great service at pharmacy counter, always Ques at the pharmacy . Appears to be a turnover of pharmacists or temp pharmacists . I go to boots in Hoole instead now.”
