The most despicable nasty horrible staff ever! Just been in with a problem they told me they would let me talk to someone in a call centre, I explained I did not want to speak to an Indian call centre I want the problem solved here in the bank however! This fat Indian woman told me I was a racist and was putting a report on my account! This is no longer a bank that cares about their staff! They have no idea what they are doing! Im not a racist I have every right to speak to a British person in a British bank not someone inna 3rd world country i can?t understand!

Checked on website 'Bank opening times'. showing Branch opening 9.30 - 16.30.. Arrived 15.30 to pay in cheques. Branch closed at 1500hrs. This is my nearest branch, Nantwich , my parent Branch closed some time ago, Newcastle only recently closed, both were a half hour's journey from home. I complain of a decreasing service to customers particularly those who are elderly and not tech savvy. eg what is an app?. The BOT site is a well known internet site, surely they could have been advised of the changes. Martins Bank, my original Bank before they were taken over by Barclays had a slogan 'Martins goes to extremes to be helpful'. I reckon Barclays could learn a thing or to. As a shareholder I shall try to attend the next Barclays agm, raise a question about customer service and expect some positive responses.

Absolutely useless staff, they provide you with wrong information about your accounts, lies that the cases are open for investigation and always fob you off! What?s the point of having the branch in town, I recommend to change the banks to different ones like nationwide or natwest

Iv had nothing but good service from the guys at Crewe, I visit quite often,and no matter who I get ,there all very nice, very helpful, only thing I would say is they do get busy, but even then they respect the customer.

What kind of part time bank are you?3pm closing is NOT end of business day. Shops close at 5.30 usually. Banks should close same time.

Front shop staff are very efficient and helpful.But only one small service counter so can be a very long wait.

Barclays , the bank that doesn't care -I would change after 52 years of loyalty but they are pretty much all as bad .When dealing at branch level [ if you can find one ] or on the phone you are treated as an inconvenience , they are a total disgrace .I wonder how long this branch will last ?See response below , usual platitudes and waffle - Hey Andrew !Nothing will change until something hurts -

Shockingly slow and bad service every time I come here. Today the lady on the cashier desk rolled her eyes at me like I was inconveniencing her, apparently they were closing the desk, even though it clearly states they are open till later. If you can do internet banking and can avoid this branch, do it, you will receive much better service. I hate having to come here, it?s a half hour round journey in the car, but unfortunately the next is over an hour away.

Just walk in the branch and the staffs seems very busy, but just wait around 10mins, I got my problem solved by a great staff - Heather, really appreciate for her to learn my long story about my special conditions, and she speedy help me to make an appointment for my account issues.Excellent service and 5 star ?? for sure, thank you.

The worst bank and branch I have ever come across. Communications generally from the bank is appalling and the branch had two staff greeting ATM access only customers (why?) and two staff in the back that apparently only had access to a computer. Despite a queue of people one member of staff took a lunch break at 14:00. I was there for over an hour and wasn?t seen. Account will be closed.
