Supermarkets in Crewe, Cheshire

“Go to shop in UK. Customer preference and highly recommended in terms of price .. But none of the shops in UK has fresh Nonveg products. My personal experience. One day I bought Prawn here and that night I fell sick with loose motion and vomiting.. from that day I stopped buying any kind of meat or ready to eat products from any of these supermarkets. Otherwise all good ?”

“i would recommend their service at bargain prices for whatever your looking for, or thayle be something else available at bargain prices, so as I've already mentioned, when you're passing stop to look around their shop, as I've mentioned thay are most likely to have in stock whatever you are looking for.”

“Travelling on narrowboat, needed some Amazon deliveries, stayed for a few days awaiting delivery, shop was great, not just for supplies, allowed me to get non Amazon locker stuff delivered. Good community spirit. Helped me out so much.”

“Nice light and airy store. First time of visiting but standard Aldi layout.This store is quite large, and the aisles are lovely and wide, it was also very clean and the staff were all helpful and polite. Nice store to visit.”

“The store in coppenhall lane opposite the playing fields near the by Bentley factory has been excellent both on the food line and the staff are a credit to you they have gone out of there way to deliver anything I wanted in lockdown I am80 but even now they help Stella and Gaynor especially has been so helpful I can say they deserve promotion not only for me but for others they have helped. “Pretty decent little store but not the best with a buggy, I've taken out a few displays and been on the receiving end of head shakes and tutting from pensioners when I've blocked an aisle.”

“First time in farmfoods. The staff are friendly & helpful. & the deals that they have on certain tinned fish is good example current special until the 18th of September. Check instore. Two tins of Princess wild pacific red salmon for £4 that is value for money.”

“Has most of what's needed. As with many Sainsburys the Holmes Chapel staff are really very helpful, including Jamie. A truly pleasant and cool individual that kindly told me that we're in a pandemic and they didn't accept cash for the items I wanted. I pointed out that the till sign said 'card whenever possible'. He started dancing. Great. I joined in.”

“Paul Kilsby is the best stock worker I have witnessed in my life. He operated the till, stock and online picking all after each other then drove shopping to the houses of 2420 customers.He then did a 30 mile marathon and came back on his bike for another full shift just hours later.If Jesus is among us we've found him in a Crewe supermarket.Shoutout to the whole team at this store. “Loads of spaces, the biggest carpark for a supermarket in Crewe maybe. 2 hours free parking.Really good hot food section, but wish there was more “proper food” i.e. ham, chicken thighs/wings etc, with different seasoning instead of a lot of the chicken nuggets and wedges/chips.Has a nice little selection of clothes, just wish the children’s clothes had a bigger selection as the clothes are fantastic quality and an amazing fit (if you’re children are slim you have to try these clothes).Nice cafe with plenty of seating.Nice clean toilets.But with the cost of everything at the moment, the prices of things here has also gone up. So not a cheap supermarket if that’s what you’re looking for.”

“I think if I had to choose between Home Bargains and B&M, I would go for HB, except their garden section is lacking, but for all other items HB is definitely cheaper.It also has better refrigerated food in the bigger stores.P.S...... HB butter is currently the cheapest you can buy ANYWHERE.”

“Great store, pleasant staff. Got a sign at the door saying wait for someone to come out. Aka social distancing - but no-one i saw was wearing a mask so a bit pointless.”

“Great range of products & prices seem inline with other locations in the area , carpark to rear with clearly marked disabled parking , easy access for wheel chairs users & other disabled people , staff are excellent .only concern is the entrance/exit off the road as store is located just before a blind bend so extra attention need when entering & leaving .”

“Faultless service, staff are wonderful and the deliveroo service is exceptional too, order, and 15 mins later, your food is at your door. Some other co-ops take forever with deliveroo”

“I have always found all of the staff extremely pleasant and helpful. The store always looks clean, it’s well stocked and reasonably priced. What’s not to like!”

“Decent shop with plenty of choice. 4 stars though as often they’ll have gangs of teens hanging around underneath the stairs messing around and nobody seems to move them on.”

“Recently moved into the village and have found the staff in the store extremely friendly as well as the locals that go in. We enjoy the short stroll to the shop and so much better than having get the car to go elsewhere.”

“It features the typical high prices of a small convenience store, but it's good for occasions when the Aldi opposite is closed. The people who work there are generally very friendly and they sell Wright's pies now that the bakery has closed, which is an added bonus.”
