Good place for food, a good variety of dishes and food was great. Great choice of beers. A big plus was our dog was allowed in which is always good. A very quiet atmosphere, maybe a little too quiet although was very busy during our visit.

The Hand and Trumpet is a decent sized pub, seating about 150, with classic old floors, rugs, open fires, books and old furniture. There's a sizeable garden with a large pond, and we've built a deck out over the rear of the pub which overlooks the grounds. It's a stunner when the sun comes out.
