Wont hand over items that you have ordered with out proof of an argos card. A picture front and back is not valid proof but its completely fine to have someone validate it over a videocall. Shambles of a company from top to bottom

Management and staff complete rude .,arrogant ,discrimination against disabled customer in store , tried to return a lenovo tab which was not compatible with Google any more , branch manager ,security guard, sainsburys manager all tell me to p.off out of store as item was used and after they switched on and off refused refund or exchange ,so stuck with a tab over £100 can not use ,Argos head office useless as well ,Their don't like it return it ,is only on un opened boxed items ,must have security seal still in tact .Do NOT USE THIS ARGOS OTHERWISE YOU WILL BE ARRESTED BY THE SECURITY GUARD

I don?t think I?ve ever given an Argos a 5 star review, it normally ends in disaster, compensation, complaints etc.However, having bought something from Chester Argos which was broken when I opened the package, I was expecting the worst, but I got the best kind of service. The young lady at Ellesmere Port Argus refunded me on a gift card without issue and even recommended a better product, and was throughly nice throughout.Great work!

Can never fault Argos. Sometimes they lack stock which can be frustrating, but it is no big deal. Prices are usually very competitive and the customer service and return of any unfortunately faulty items is second to none.

Appalling customer service - I had an issue placing my order and received no help whatsoever from the customer representative, she offered no solutions and simply turned away my custom. In times of economic downturn if Argos is able to refuse to take customers' money, maybe they are best going the same way as WOOLWORTH and MOTHERCARE - I'll be using Amazon for my catalogue shopping in the future - much much better customer service.

Returned my poor quality lenovo (do not buy) laptop today. Spent over an hour alone on phone to Argos 0345 number liaising between shop staff and Argos on line. Had purchased product on Argos card (avoid) on my second phone call to argos they told me I didn't purchase the product... eventually after waiting on phone for over an hour and shop refusing to accept that my reference number was valid.. they eventually found my records and refunded the money to my account.. .. no stars Argos... coz I did purchase the product in store. . Over an hour of my life wasted
