We love the Old Red Lion. We love the cocktails - really fresh and care always taken over preparing them to a high standard. It?s also our go to for Sunday morning breakfast. The food is always so delicious and the veggie sausages are amazing. We love chatting with Emma who is like a ray of sunshine and all the friendly bar staff.Vegetarian options: Well catered for.

Very friendly staff who welcome us with a smile and are always happy to help! Can't fault the food, options for everyone and very tasty. Also, great deal for the children's menu! Great selection of drinks and has a homely atmosphere. Cosy dog friendly area so we can bring our little boy with us. Hands down, the Old Red Lion is my go-to spot in Holmes Chapel! It's got that perfect cozy vibe with friendly staff who always make you feel at home. The food? Oh man, it's seriously tasty! From classic pub grub to more gourmet options, they've got something for everyone. Whether you're popping in for a pint or a full-on feast, you're guaranteed a great time at the Old Red Lion. It's like Cheers, but in Holmes Chapel. Love it!

Manager needs to learn how not to be rude and to not employ druggies to cook food for customers..Never known anyone to be so rude..Wrong main given to someone on a table opposite, she acted like she wasn't the issue, the customer was to blame, apparently. What a joke. NEW MANAGEMENT NEEDED ASAP. SHE HASNT A CLUE HOW TO RUN A BATH LET ALONE A PUB

We had Sunday lunch and really enjoyed taking our time over the delicious meal. It was great to catch up with friends. The staff made us very welcome. There's a varied menu including vegan and vegetarian. The venue is atmospheric and well laid out. Thank you!

Excellent service. Please ask them to serve asparagus as menu states with sea bass. Twice I have had brocolli i stead and overcooked. Otherwise excellent.

I thought the whole experience was great. I booked for myself and 5 friends. We ordered our food, some choosing the set menu which is great value. The food came quickly and was hot, everything was delicious and staff friendly and attentive. I can?t think of anything to improve!Vegetarian options: Separate vegetarian and vegan menu available

Lovely atmosphere but if the food could be a bit better quality that would be nice. The service was fine. The food was hot but a little better quality and it would be great.Vegetarian options: My daughter is vegetarian and she always finds something she enjoys on the menu
