For the price paid - £126 for one night, wasn't really worth it. We were at a local festival and needed a place to stay overnight before the drive home the next day. As the other reviews say, lots of noisy lorries by the roundabout next to the hotel. Not so bad in the small hours, but they do start up with a vengeance... read full comment

The hotel is on a busy road and heavy noisy lorries start fairly early in the morning. The noise from these makes it difficult to have a lie in but if you are an early riser then this is not an issue. There were no noisy neighbours and excited kids running down the halls. The room itself was clean and comfortable.

Can't fault the price and the staff at all, it's not a hotel for the light sleepers as there's heavy traffic noise. Yes the carpets are out dated, the room was extremely stuffy with the heatwave we've had.
