Terrible experience with this supplier, as a small scale trades person!!.I have been a builder for almost 30 years but am new to this area.Beginning a small scale project, with material cost estimated at somewhere around £5000. But my first order, I only wanted 2 sheets of ply wood. To big for my car, but the project is approx only 300 yards away from TG yard in Northwich. I was amazed to see they were going to charge £18 delivery ??When I queried this charge I was given a flat 'No' to any negotiation of delivery charge.I have worked on the Serial in the building sector for almost 30 years, and I have always been able to build a great rapport with suppliers, and they have always supported local trades persons, but not with TG!I bought 4 items of electrical supplies last week from CEF, about 1 Mike away from the project, and they offered a free delivery without me even asking.I do understand that logistics have to be paid for, but the prices at TG are not even very competitive, but I wanted to use them all they are so close. But I simply won't be able to with an £18 delivery charge for every item.I am very disappointed, so much so that I have decided to leave this post!Terrible service!!

T and G Northwich. 1bag of cement and a bag of building sand £12.05, didn't even have the decency to load it in my car as the staff were to busy at the butty van.Won't be going back in a hurry!

Good local builders merchants with a good selection of goods. Patio centre is great and at good prices. We also use their cement division for doing our extension, screed and building work foundstions and very good service , advice and pricing. Assured Concrete Pumping in Weaverham is great to use if concrete is to be pumped.

Above and beyond!! Damsal in distress!! I'd like to say a big thank you to T & G Builders,today the weather took a quick turn with frost and snow, and my car could not make it over the bridge as my car wheels was spinning, these guys came over and brought some sand to put under my wheels, which got me going again, so I'm so grateful to you, not just a great business to buy from ?Have a wonderful ? ??

Great products and staff , a bit of an error on there part cost me time money on a job , they have been really understanding and sorted out the correct materials taking responsibility which is a refreshing change , competitive prices and really helpful manager and staff , usually a list of excuses from competitors in the area regardless of money spent .My customer and I have really appreciated the way tg resolved the situation highly recommend ?
