The Bridge Hotel in Prestbury, Cheshire offers a charming place to dine, with picturesque views. Excellent service, and delicious dining options make it a delightful retreat.

i?ve never walked out of hotel before but the standard of my room was the worst i?ve ever had the misfortune to experience, including those grubby stag trips. When I explained ver politely to reception I would not be staying in that room her reply was fine and she bid me goodbye . No wonder Flat Cap is in AdministrationRooms: disgustingNoteworthy details: please stay away

A superbly positioned hotel in a village that has lots of charm & history. It's well placed for local walks or trips further afeikd. Our room was particularly nice (in the older part of the building). They pride themselves in using local resources where possible from drinks to the food which was excellent quality & value! Their best asset is the staff who are approachable, knowledgeable & extraordinarily friendly! Well done! I expect to return to Prestbury in coming months & have every intention to revisit The Bridge.Nearby activities: River Bollin walks are nice, St Peters Church (next door) is historic & beautiful inside/outside/grounds and outbuildings. It's well situated for many other activities.

Five of us booked for the Christmas Fare set menu and was excellent value and included a glass of mulled wine and crackers for the table. Excellent service from our server and not rushed. Dining is in pleasant surroundings.

Very good service today. All the staff were friendly and attentive. The Sunday roast was pretty good. However, the best dishes were actually the humous and bread n butter.

Went for Sunday lunch in December. The food was amazing. Staff warm and friendly and atmosphere was great. Will definately be back. Can't believe we had never tried this gem before.Food & drinks: My husband was a chef and can be ultra critical. However, he couldn't fault the meal.

CHRISTMAS EVE- We came for dinner tonight at 6pm with several children for Christmas Eve. 7 of us in total. Got Totally ignored. Staff were run off their feet totally unorganised. We saw 4 sets of families complaining to the management with no resolution. We had a 3 year old with us. Please don't book people in if you cannot support the service it's unacceptable and ridiculous on on Christmas Eve!!! We left at 8pm without any food (2hrs later still no food!!!! ). Totally not fair very upset customer. I don't expect an apology reply as it's not accepted. Please do something about your staff. I really feel sorry for any Christmas Day bookings tomorrow. We expect our deposit back! The Graham family

Price and quality of food are high. Never again for sure at restaurant. Rooms are too old but well cleaned. The windows should be changed before winter arrives!

Unfortunatley i am very dissapointed in The Bridge Hotel in Prestbury as me and my fiance were looking to have a small wedding there as we found the place very charming and cosey (just what we like!) My future wife enquired 4 times!!! On their website, we got no response all 4 times and myself once total 5 times. My fiance had to call The Bridge Prestbury and they just said email FlatCap Hotels, which we have done but still no reply. We feel like we have been let down and no have decided due to the lack of customer care in what meant to be a joyous time in our lives we will no longer be pursuing this option. I will not be reccomending The Bridge Prestbury to my friends or family in the future. I worked in customer service most of my life and this is a good example of how not to meet the expectations of your potential customers. Not even a phonecall, VERY unproffessional and VERY dissapointed!

We attended a family wedding, venue is a little tired, food was just ok, service wasn?t great from certain members of staff they were rude and condescending. We had cash to spend however was made to feel like an inconvenience, there were no signs to say cash wasn?t accepted, left feeling angry and disappointedNoteworthy details: They grumble when I tried to spend cash ?

After an admittedly poor experience a couple of weeks ago, we were invited back by manager Macauley via email with the promise of a five star service. To say the staff have gone above and beyond to appease myself, and other diners around us, would be an understatement. Perfect food, attentive service and very polite and courteous staff. I couldn?t ask for any more! The seabass was also cooked to perfection ?Well done to Macauley and team for a fantastic experience tonight. We?ll see you next week no doubt!

We booked a 2 night super dog friendly stay through a third supplier and paid in full. On arrival unfortunately our booking was lost and the staff had to find us an alternative room, the problem was dealt with but the rooms we was offered were not quite as advertised and had paid for. Maybe our mistake but we was expecting a good size room with a 4 poster bed. Both rooms offered were a little tired but as it was only 2 nights we agreed and stayed. The staff were super dog friendly and he went everywhere with us. Food was superb as was the beer. We probably wouldn't stay again but needless to say we enjoyed our stay here.
