Fran provided me with excellent customer service today, she was very attentive and pleasant towards myself and other customers. Although she doesn?t specialise in working on the till, she did a splendid job in serving me my sausage butty- made by the lovely Alison.Thanks guys x

We sat by a window looking over the water hoping to see the Kingfisher that lives here. While waiting I enjoyed a delicious, warm scone. Excellent staff too.

The staff are excellent, particularly the lady with blonde curly hair. Only yesterday did she provide me with help and excellent service. It's a shame not all customers treat the staff with dignity and respect. A very obnoxious person in front of me treated her very badly, thought it was their right to do so!

Always found a very good selection of produce in stock and found the staff to be very helpful and friendly. Unjust comments about the shop and staff are incorrect.

Omg?.. talk about rude! It was an inconvenience for the lady on the deli counter to slice 2 pieces of beef for me which resulted in her throwing the joint on to the meat slicer. Then after queuing at the tills I was served by the most rudest lady (older tight perm).Such a shame as the store is full of really nice produce. But unfortunately staff can let a business down.

There was a slug in the deli where they make the breakfast buttys on the counter ? it really upset me and I can?t see me getting food from there again it traumatised me

Why are the staff so rude in here? 3rd time now and it just gets worse & worse. It?s that bad that I?m making a review on a spar shop experience ? whoever is in charge you really need to get a refresh on all the staff from bakery to the till. Absolutely shocking. No thank you no nothing from any staff members. ?can I have a sausage roll please? huffing and puffing not really no I?m busy in the back ? can?t make it up, not a single word I got from the cashier either. No hello. Goodbye. Thanks. Nothing!!Felt like I was on a reality program or in a concentration camp. This is why I will be visiting again so I can just have one of them 1 in a life time experience again

Just returned after 2 nights stay in the floating pods with a dog The accommodation was immaculately clean, comfortable with mod cons Had breakfast in boat house both morning which was good value and lovely Staff extremely friendly and helpful including the manager suggesting walks and restaurants Overall stay was enjoyable, relaxing and very dog friendly Will definitely be returning for mini breaks in the future

Good range of stuff for a village shop albeit expensive. Unfortunately, the older female staff are miserable, often quite rude and have no inter personal skills - unless they know you well when they seem happy to chat regardless of queues. The worst thing is the amount of stock that is on, or very close to, their use by date. Check dates and quality very carefully. Sliced bread in particular is ALWAYS a problem - try finding a loaf with more than 2 days left! Really not good enough.

The day self drive boats are brilliant. Good value, well equipped, easy to operate and you see a world you normally never get to see from the road. The staff were really friendly and helpful. Can totally recommend.

We went there yesterday to get a late breakfast/lunch and arrived just before 12 noon. When we entered there was no greeting or even acknowledgement of us coming in. Clearly we must have unknowingly must have slipped on our invisibility cloaks. We took a seat and saw that breakfast was only served up to 12, so decided to order quickly. The invisibility aspect was clearly still an issue as we were still being ignored by the staff. So at about 5 past the hour my wife sought out someone to speak to and was quickly refused service of breakfast, she then enquired about lunch and was told they weren?t going to be serving any. Only option was to leave and seek a better reception somewhere else, which was obviously not going to be too difficult. As we left at about 20 past the hour, a good supply of delicious looking full breakfasts were still being delivered to tables, quite a paradox. So, not a great impression of the place in terms of service and despite being local, it?s unlikely we will be bothering to venture in again. Poor service and no desire to be a little flexible despite causing the issue in the first place by ignoring us. Thanks very much.

Can be a little expensive on a few items. Has so much fresh local produce it's amazing. Also has a very varied amount of stock. It's like a little gem in the middle of a beautiful village. Staff are absolutely lovely , friendly and very helpful.

We stayed in the floating glamping pod it was ideal for us and the dogs the boathouse was great food was very nice we also had entertainment and all the people at the marina made us feel very welcome
