Don?t know their ?@&£ from their elbow. I needed to transfer a large amount of money to buy a house. Have to do it in branch not online for security reasons. Ok fine. Local branch closed down, so tried next town, that has been closed down. Phoned to ask helpline ? go to X town. Got there, closed down. I can?t transfer online so what on earth does one do now!? Not even the helpline know or could tell me which branch I could use. Nearest?. Get on the train to Manchester. Seriously! What if I was infirm/ elderly/ in a wheelchair. Come on people. If you are going to shut branches have an alternative option.

Came at 2.30 today (Tuesday) and nobody there to help with paying a cheque in, shutters on counters down, heard voices but no help. Disgraceful. You can close the banks as far ad I am concerned

Service unbelievably poor. Only one till is ever manned, and this one is often used to serve customers who should, and could, have been dealt with at one of the desks. ie This would free up the one till for cash transactions and significantly reduce the waiting time. I have waited, twice, for 30 minutes and then given up. 15-20 minutes wait being the norm. Staff fine, the system deplorable !

Big queue. Waited 25 mins. Single cashier. Wasted resource futilely asking people if they need help instead of another till.Barclays cutomer service is awful or rather the model is.A number of times I've seen people indirectly marched to the automatic machines only to have to rejoin a the queue for cashier.I've seen people leave the queue and bank...maybe that is the intent.I felt sorry for the staff member having to deal with a number of disgruntled customers in the queue.

Second time I have arrived to use counter services. To he told they close at 2.30pm. An hour before branch closes. And to be quite honest the attitude of the person conveying this is disgusting.

Service is terrible. Queues are ridiculous and staff are rude, arrogant and argumentative. What a dreadful experience today at Wilmslow branch of Barclays. Called into the branch as my elderly mother wanted to withdraw some of her cash ( been with Barclays for 50 years!) talk about the Spanish Inquisition! Anyone would have thought she wanted to withdraw a million pounds! There are so many better banks to bank with these days. Don?t put your money in Barclays?they are extremely reluctant (and argumentative!) to let you take it out!

Hugely disappointing trying to bank here .Staff rude ,unhelpful & the polar opposite of the branch they just closed in Alderley Edge . Sadly now looking elsewhere after 40yrs.

Probably the worst banking experience in my life. You wanna open an account and make a deposit? Oh the staff certainly did not welcome that. How come there is only 1 cashier window at this reasonably sized branch is beyond my understanding. Even if you are first in the queue, it may take at least 5 min before the staff speak to you. Not to mention how helpful that may be.It?s ok. There are other banks which are much more pleasant.

awful awful awful! How on earth this branch gets away with poor service and huge queues whilst operating only 1 cashier window is unfathomable. To top it off the staff are downright ignorant, rude and extremely unhelpful. Little wonder all bank branches are disappearing from the high street the surprise is just how this branch was saved from the cull. Atrocious is being nice. Zero stars.

Unclear opening times, incorrect signage and extremely rude staff.I chose spending 30 mins on hold to bank over the phone than going into branch.

Another shiny branch, but Barclays have invested over $140b dollars in fossil fuels since the 2015 Paris agreement. Funding climate catastrophe is a good reason to switch banks!
