I came for a sight test and was shown wonderful customer service throughout. I was greeted by Deborah who was lovely, very helpful and informative when carrying out my initial tests. Zenab carried out my sight test and was very professional throughout. Laurel and Dale helped me pick out some glasses afterwards and were extremely helpful and make it a lovely experience. 10/10 would come again and couldn?t recommend highly enough.

Assistant promptly offered me help when I was looking for glasses. When I had chosen some frames and was stood waiting, the optician Dale asked how he could help. He then was very efficient in processing my purchase, didn't pressurise me into buying extras but explained clearly potential benefits.

The three individuals who assisted me Dale, Isra and another gentleman that was new to his role are a credit to Boots. Everything was seamless, they were incredibly professional and put me at ease.

A really wasteful use of time. Ordered glasses and the wrong ones were sent out. As I was travelling next week for a month i asked for a refund and was told no. Went away and googled my consumer rights. No one answer phone it rings and rings and rings. Made a call direct to Boots customer services who said I needed to speak to Boots optician. Went back fully informed as glasses were wrong I was entitled to a refund. Spoke to a member of staff and then the manager who was very sensible and understood consumer law and refunded money. An unnecessary battle. I won?t return. Although I?m now trying to make contact re a referral they have made for me and I haven?t heard but again no one answering phone. I expect in end I will need to physically go into store. I wouldn?t recommend you seem to get lost in system.

Complete shambolic service. Used to be a good optician store not any more. Had an eye test and had 2 pairs of glasses made up with my prescription . 1 pair were completely the wrong prescription. Turned out the optician had not put all my results down so had to have another eye test and glasses sent off again for different lenses. Was promised somebody would phone me when they were ready - no call so 2 weeks later I contacted them and they said we tried to call you - no missed calls on my phone. Staff seem disinterested and the whole experience has left me cross. Lots of wasted time which was just not necessary. Only person who seemed interested and apologised was a member of staff who was brought in from the Trafford centre to try and sort things out. Staff training required urgently at this store

Can't fault the staff they were excellent. However when I came to purchase the frames, they were £40 more at the till. Price on frame stated £210, frame at till stated £250. Told I would have to pay the £250. Unfortunately you lost a sale there as I will now purchase from elsewhere.

Boots hard sell add ons are a disgrace . Specs already marked up by 80% . People on low incomes actually trust these high street brands. Utter disgrace. Please check first with independent retailer or online . Experience like buying from a used car dealer.

After looking elsewhere for suitable frames for my son for literally weeks and weeks. We received an excellent and efficient service here, wonderful staff, from the staff that greeted us, to the dispensing opticians, everyone was very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. James helped us initially and was fantastic each time we went it, honestly all the staff were brilliant, they couldn't do enough for us. Very pleased we managed to get sorted. Thank you Boots Handforth Dean Opticians!

I have not used Boots opticians for a number of years but will certainly stick with them from now on. I saw a lovely young man who explained everything clearly and repeatedly asked if I had any more questions. The whole test was brilliant. He was kind caring helpful and really friendly. Brilliant service.

Paid £260 for glasses just over 12 months ago, last week one of the arms fell off, according to boots , and I quote " its not one of our own frames" my response was well I got it here and you sold it to me, my wife has had to take her glasses back on 3 occasions,lense fell out, nose piece fell off twice, whilst I was in Boots 3 people came in with broken glasses. Poor quality, go elsewhere!!!

Brilliant service....when last week to get a repair on my glasses ....as the lens came out....so thought a new screw would fix it....instead James told they are under guarantee and replaced them for a new pair....which I wasn't expecting....so it was great ....he could have easily not done so.....but he looked after his customerMy mother and son also come here....and always get great service....this is my 3rd pair and always happy with boots opticians their staff and service....10 out of 10 for James
