Had problems with a shed (rubbish) but the manager was very helpful and over a few weeks we compromised. A replacement part was sent and Tom Kingsey came to refit. He is an asset to the company and gave me confidence to know Bodmin Homebase gives customer satisfaction.
Thank you I do not recommend the shed but certainly the Bodmin Store !

Checked stock of an item on the website before we left to buy it. Got there and checked stock again and still 5 left bit could not find it in the store.
On enquiry we were told they have 5 but they are not for sale as they have been put aside for other customers. However the idiots had not updated the stores stock so we made the long journey for no reason. After complaining and saying we would escalate the issue the manager quickly ran in the store and updated the stock. What a sneaky move after spending 10 minutes arguing with us that it was not live stock then running g in and updating it.
Moral of the story don't trust the online stock figures for this store as they don't bother to update it.
Thanks Homebase. Perhapse you would like to refund my petrol. ?
UPDATE: after complaining to head office they sourced me the item and gave me a £10 fuel voucher for my wasted time and petrol.

Second time i have been on to the store to be told they dont have what i need! Apparently fire lighter blocks are pnly used during bbq season

Always find staff helpful, well stocked with goods although plants outside could do with a bit more TLC .
