We stayed on a touring pitch and although the weather wasn?t great the site has more than enough to keep our children entertained. A big shout out to Liam and Alex on the entertainment team they were brilliant! We have a 4 & 11 year old and they made the weekend fun for them both. We ate in the club on Friday and the food was freshly cooked and good value. All in all a fab weekend for families. Thank you monkey tree

We have just spent a week at Monkey tree holiday park, we paid extra for a ultra delux pitch which meant we had our own shower and toilet block, also had our own picnic area and BBQ, the site was well kept, the toilet and shower was ok a few little things were needed but all and all it was good. The site has everything you need if you have children, there is a swimming pool, a place where you could sit under cover to have some fish and chips, pizza and a bar, there is a club on site which as entertainment for children and bingo and entertainment for adults, we did not use any of the facilities but they were there if needed. There is so much to do on site and so near to Newquay, Perranporth, Truro, st. Ives and lands end, The site is excellent especially if you have children and I would recommend it. Overall well kept site in a great location for visiting Cornwall

Sorry this might be long. We went for a long weekend camping before it got too cold. We have been before but that was 5 years ago so we wanted to see what was new. The pitch was great, nice and flat and enclosed. Shower/toliet blocks was fine not brilliantly clean but i know there were a few children running in and out. We loved that the arcade was updated and the park was great. Soft play was good aswell apart from it says it opens from 9am-5pm but on the saturday it didnt open till 10.30. The swimming pool looks great but be warned its very cold especially for little ones, we have a 3, 5 and 6 year old who struggled with the temperature. Entertainment was great but i would say they need a bigger dance floor for the kids as it was very cramped which resulted my kids getting pushed and shoved by slightly bigger kids i know it wasnt malicious and it was because they were dancing but i would help having a slightly bigger area. We arrived on the friday we already had out 3 little ones and my mother in law was dropping our eldest off (11year old) after she finished college but they wouldnt let my daughter through the gate the security guard was very rude and kept asking for a day pass and as we explained to him she was booked in with us i showed him the booking details and he still kept demanding to see a wrist band for day pass. My partner went to reception to say, all while my daughter was still stood outside of the gate/bollards and within minutes they let her through no apology from the secruity whatsoever. Another thing is there was quite a bit of noise past midnight one night it was people coming back from nightclubs at 3.30am and the next night it was someones caravan tv was up very loud untill 2am. I did try calling the security number but kept beeping like it was engaged. We did leave a day early as weather got bad but i think we would of left anyway due to the sleepless nights.

The site was fine, you can tell it was end of season as it's all looking like it needs a spruce up for 2024. Food was ok, took its time in being made but things forgotten on the order didn't help the issue. Soft play good, arcade good, pool good, crazy golf never experienced but looks really nice.

We chose this site again this year as last year we really enjoyed it , so on arrival we were given our pitch for 14 nights which was right near the road, however the road noise wasn't too bad, now here's the bad points, the ice-cream parlour was shut the bar and food takeaway around the pool was shut, the pool closed at 4pm.The main bar at night was a joke, security was questioning people about their drinks if they were bought from the bar etc, I just felt like I was being studied all night so we only went in twice . The toilets were disgusting although they were cleaned twice a day, most of the flushers didn't work properly so people just left them , there was even sh@t on the toilet seats, there was a lot of tents (groups ) near us drinking all day and night leaving empty cans and pint pots everywhere. I paid nearly £900 for this holiday and feel ripped off , I won't be going again, we did move to another site for a week near Perranporth which was so tranquil so we are going there next year, I've posted some pics below

We booked 9 nights in August. When we arrived, our pitch was really muddy and difficult to set up on. Unfortunately, it was also very smelly. We were disappointed with the facilities as we looked around. There was a lot of rubbish everywhere. We found the food available incredibly limited. The pool area was lovely (although quite a bit of rubbish around) and clearly has had a lot of money spent on that area. The kids play area was good but unfortunately that is the only positive things I can say about this site. We found the fact that there was so much security very alarming. The on-site shop did not have what we needed and as the night started, the site started to get louder and louder. At 2am, loud music was still being played and offered our young children a disturbed night. I let the staff know that my daughter with complex special needs and epilepsy struggled with disturbed sleep and as a result experienced seizures throughout the night. We decided half way through our first night that it would not be possible to stay. When looking for another site, we also realised just how expensive this site was. We paid a lot of money and were absolutely devastated with everything about the site. We felt we could not put our daughter through another night like the previous one so left first thing. We were told by the staff that they would take a note of our circumstances but when trying to get even some of our money back for the 8 out of 9 nights, were told that they would not offer even anything as a gesture. This is exactly the kind of site that we would avoid and would not recommend the site to anyone. For anyone that has a child with complex special needs, daily life is incredibly stressful, and this brief stay offered us a lot of added upset and stress.

We arrived and although getting into the caravan was fairly late in the afternoon, we went food shopping and got the keys at the time stated. Best week ever! Our caravan was situated a small walk from all the facilities. Cleanest caravan park I've ever been too. Caravan had everything we needed, no complaints at all. Entertainment was in two different places in season, which was a bit annoying but outstanding entertainment every night for both children and adults. Shop closed earlier then it stated. We did start our first two nights in season, which is why the shop maybe shut a tad earlier then expected towards the end of the week. Laundry room was amazing, especially after being at the beach all day. Loved our holiday so much, there was a park, things to do all day everyday, football pitch, entertainment, arcades, a play area and lots in reception to help with those cheap but cheerful days out. Reception could not do enough to help and provide support in regards to the area and things to do with my autistic son, who sometimes.... just doesn't want to join in but wants to do something fun. Wish the swimming pool had some small slides. But overall, the kids had a ball in it and I enjoyed sunbathing on the side. The people there were amazing staff and visitors, polite, helpful and chatty. We would 100% go back and enjoy this holiday all over again.

Awful place poorly run! Justify everything you have an issue with by saying it?s high season, Dirty !!! So greedy cramming people in to small spaces- Would not recommend at all spend your money elsewhere.

definitely would visit again, just the food prices are a bit high for the quality of the food. Don?t go to fish and chips ?Ahoy? food restaurants after opening (3pm) you will get chips mixed up from previous day? (they have been two different colours ?) and chicken nuggets are vile- so hard and probably not even chicken- like plastic.. Pizza?s choice is not huge, but those pizzas are very nice! Pool is amazing and very kids friendly with shallow water and also with parts for swimmers. Lots of entertainment and arcade on the grounds Amenities has been kept clean. Washing machines and dryers easy to use! Large pitches? Main downside is NO phone signal which means no internet (only monkey tree wifi which was over priced - 2hours for £5, £7.50 for a day and so on!)

My Husband and I camped here last week with our two young children on an electric grass pitch. The most disappointing part of our stay and what I would class as the most important was the cleanliness and care taking of the shared facilities. There were several occasions where the toilets and wash rooms were not cleaned for 24 hours. I know this as the same toilets had the same toilet paper all over the floor and in the cubicles. One morning when I did see a cleaner in there, there was still dirt on the toilets and sinks despite them being ?cleaned?. There were no sanitary waste bins in most of the toilets I went in and the whole facilities were very warn and in need of refurbishment. The washing up facilities had two sinks, where I would often queue for long periods to wash dishes. The sinks were often blocked with food/ grease/ oil. The grounds appear to be kept in good condition and the laundrettes clean. On one occasion i witnessed two cleaners cleaning a small laundrette together and I couldn?t help but wander why when the toilets were so dirty. Considering the price for our stay, we were overall disappointed with our experience. I would not return to monkey tree. The shared cleaning facilities and washrooms are in need of regular cleaning and refurbishment.

We stayed for a week at the start of the summer holidays, we have stayed a couple of times previously and had enjoyable breaks. Unfortunately the week we stayed we had strong winds and heavy wind which is completely out of the sites control how we the pitch we were on at the top of the site was not adequate to cope in these conditions, the ground quickly became swamp like with huge puddles in the numerous pot holes that could have easily been filled. The toilet facilities on the field were not sufficient to deal with the amount of guests and were not finished and often damaged. The pool facility, park and soft play were good. Would not return as there are better parks available at much more reasonable prices.

Stayed here as a couple so we could meet up with family already in situ. The only good thing I can say about this place was our caravan pitch, it was very spacious and reasonably private. Throughout our 3 night stay, we had rug rats running amock all through our pitch, very annoying and undoubtedly no discipline from their parents. My partner went to the site chippy for our supper, (OMG), this was a saga on its own. She ordered on arrival scampi & chips and steak pie & chips. The male server took the order and payment and was then told they had no pies left. Overheard by another staff member he went and fetched a pie from stock room. Some 45 minutes had passed to be told the order was ready, ( hmmm where's the scampi & chips", "you didn't order scampi and chips". This resulted in at least 12 people getting served before my partner and no scampi and chips even though they were paid for. Management would not accept that the scampi and chips had been paid for. DISGUSTING AND DISGRACEFUL

originally booked for 10 days but had to cut our trip short to 6 due to the horrid holiday we had here. when we arrived our pitch was covered in dog poo and had an ants nest just to the side which meant putting up the tent was a nightmare to even start with. by the second day our tent had been absolutely infested with angry ants. we paid £15 for the wifi to use for four days, but upon purchasing the wifi it doesn?t state that it doesn?t reach any of the pitches and only in the centre near the shops (i?ve walked the whole site to try and get the wifi and absolutely nothing) so that was a waste of money. enquired at the shop to ask if there?s any way we would be able to get a refund for the wifi and the blonde teen girl on the till basically told us to go to the reception and ask although she said she doubts they?d help up by refunding and we were pretty much told we?re on our own. the pool when swimming was absolutely freezing and we had to leave after twenty minutes due to my child shivering and crying. the entertainment was okay, but could be longer. they don?t play the good party music until later on in the evening which my two year old just can?t stay awake for which is also a shame. the entertainers are nice though. the food such as pizza and chips is very overpriced for what you actually get. i?d avoid this campsite.

Do not recommend monkey tree, firstly the showers and toilets was absolutely filthy and smelly at all times, they was only 2 showers in the block and 3 toilets the shower room was small and a real struggle to shower kids in and if someone was in shower next to you, you got your legs and feet wet the club/bar was mucky, the pool was freezing , would never return back here

People say it's a cheap holiday park really isn't, most of their income is actually from gambling ac bingo and arcade WiFi costs money 20 pounds for 7 days.only good thing about the place is the pizza and the outdoor entertainer They have a mascot but the mascot only appears for 15 minutes per day. A women I met on her last day went to spend her 1400 tickets staff refused The shower rooms are dirty and younger kids don't flush their toilets I No seating for adults in the soft play area adults had to stand up, one of our family members became sick and they wouldn't refund us £80
