This place is amazing! The staff are so welcoming and polite its amazing, the entertainment is decent and the way the entertainment staff interact with you is great. Jade, wow, you went above and beyond to made us feel welcome and you made us laugh so much! I hope Jade is still there next year as we will definitely be coming back!

Staying Friday-Monday as a couple with 2 dogs. Firstly the welcome from Lesley(?) on the reception desk was exactly that! A warm welcome from her! Gave us her time to explain the park, facilities etc rather than just handing over keys! We got to the accommodation, and well if all pet friendly resorts kept their accommodation like this, we?d travel more often!! It was immaculate! Smelt fresh and breezy and frankly a credit to the house keeping team? our van was set by Cat. There were welcome bags for the dogs which I thought was a lovely touch! I?ll not spoil the surprise for others. There were a couple of small niggles below, but nothing that would prevent us booking again! If all the Away Resorts accommodation is kept as nice as here, I can see us going to many of them! Kitchen window was stuck shut so we couldn?t have it open. There was no gate on the decking so we had to make a blockade so we could let the dogs lie out when the weather was nice. The restaurant in the venue had run out of lots of items and on the next occasion it was closed due to staff shortages. The bar staff were either having an off day or just really dislike their jobs! Again all pretty small things and it didn?t detract from what was otherwise a lovely few days! Thank you!

What a beautiful place. Myself and my partner stayed in the area for 3 days. Could have stayed longer. Absolutely beautiful beach, very clean and presentable, has lovely views and plenty of places to eat. Great walks as well. Will definitely be returning soon

Just came back from a lovely 5 day stay at a Superior Caravan. Booked last minute and got a great little deal. Requested for decking and our request was followed through and the caravan/decking area was lovely. With a table and chairs too - we love sitting outside with a coffee and with our Dog! I was a little sceptical after reading the reviews on parking however althought not directly outside our van there was plenty of pull in spaces which fitted 4/5 cars which wasnt an issue at all - loads of these all over and plenty of room. Not possibly for all vans to have drive up spaces due to the layout. Signal - big issue. Hardly any, if got some it would be random and not very good. Alot of the carvans (valley view) we walked past seemed to have wifi as they came up on our phone connections, these seemed like superior too. I just dont understand that in this day and age there isnt wifi or signal on site thats widely available. If an emergency at home you wouldnt have any contact with anyone unless found signal or drove off site. Outdoor pool had a heater issue, was freezing and definately not heated. The indoor pool was great, althought we were asked at least 6 times in 10 minutes how old our sons were as we were spectating. Both 8 and very confident swimmers of which the life guards could see when they were lane swimming. Pool side coffee was delicious! Site is very well maintained, we actually loved being so close to the airfield and run way! We didnt use any entertainment facilities only swimming as we use the caravan as more of a base and travel. I would stay here again, the signal issue didnt put me off massively but I will be enquiring about vans with WIFI for future. The park could do with a few more swings in as lots of room for some. Speed limit, needs to be enforced as the speed vans and cars go through, was worrying seeing kids on scooters and bikes not using the side walks with the speed. Guest Relations staff were lovely, even let us use there hoover! Would be a massive plus if hoovers were supplied in the vans when booked direct with away resorts. We were left lovely clean towels, which was unexpected as it did say when booking towels werent provided. This could of saved us room in the car. Dog gift bag was a lovely touch, my dog loves the new blanket! A dog walking part on the site would be a great addition Washing up liquid, tea towel etc again lovely touch but i feel like these items should be highlighted on Booking info so others wouldnt worry about bringing along. Kitchen well equiped and bathrooms spotless! Our van definately seemed like a newer van. Thank you for being part of our family annual visit to Coenwall and we will be Booking with Away Resorts again.

I stayed with my partner and 2 young children. We all enjoyed our stay, park is great location and caravan was nice and clean, views on the decking was lovely. All staff was lovely and friendly. Few things could be improved would be the indoor swimming pool is pretty boring although massive so without spending lots on flumes etc you could add toys and items that sink etc to make it more fun for the kids. The entertainment wasn?t the greatest but perhaps because my kids are too young for it. No wifi or signal was annoying but overall i would stay again and enjoyed our time. Ps. the cocktails was very yummy

We came for a family holiday to Newquay Bay the campsite was lovely but the staff in the club house was very rude and ignorant. We asked a few times for food and was shut down very quickly by one member of staff telling us there is no food. They had taken to many orders the club wasn?t busy at all and also asked the same person about food on a different night to see if we could get a take away and without answering the question he rudely replied no food on Wednesday so my partner asked do you do takeaways but he just kept saying no food Wednesdays. For high season the club house entertainment was shocking hardly anything on the girls entertainers tried the best for the children but my son said it was so boring and wanted to stay in the caravan. Then the board masters was on the field at the side of us very noisy what we can deal with but when you have loads of young people coming on to the camp to use the facilities such as shop we?re we couldn?t get served as so busy they was also in the club house. Hanging around the site smoking and drinking. The shop actually advertised to the board master the was a shop on site the was security on site but they was not interested. I?m just glad we had the hot weather as the pool prices was very expensive and for a family of four it was either 14 pound a day or 30 pound for a week. After paying over a thousand pound for a weeks holiday and was not advertised the pool was chargeable. I?ve been to Newquay and tried many sites but will not be bring my young children again as this is not the camp for us. The arcade was boring and not much to do. I wanted to go in to reception but always seemed closed but with how rude staff were in the clubhouse. I didn?t feel like the was much point.

We came for a family holiday for a week with our two children. Accommodation was outstanding (we booked a private chalet). The location is fantastic for getting out and about - just a ten min drive from Newquay town centre with beaches nearby. The venue itself had everything we needed as a family. The outdoor pool was great, the night time entertainment for young children is fabulous. Beth and Jaz the entertainers were brilliant! All of the staff were lovely and friendly, particularly the chap who runs the on site shop. There is an Aldi and and an Asda both about a ten min drive away so I did a big food shop when we arrived (something I was so happy about because food is what usually takes up the most room in our car!). The only negative I can think of (which didnt affect our trip at all to be honest) was that the main bar/restaurant didnt open until 3pm during the weekdays. However, this was due to a staff shortage which I assume is only temporary. But apart from that, I just loved our stay so much that we are booking to come again next year.

Just come back from a week?s holiday with my daughter. The place is just in a picturesque place, close to most things but far enough from the hustle and bustle. The staff are very friendly and helpful, giving us directions that would make it easier to find , stopping and talking to you to make sure everything is ok. We knew when we booked that WiFi was spotty, but that didn?t stop us from having a great time ( I think people have forgotten . We don?t need to glued to our electronic devices) . This just enhanced our stay - we was really truly was away from it all. They are planning to sort out the WiFi but this takes time and they know it?s a problem for some. Just be patient as it really is a place I would definitely going back to and the sunsets are just beautiful.

We had great time there. Pool, shop, play area - everything was really good! Park was quiet (we was there in a week from Tuesday to Friday) and clean. Staff was very kindly. We loved it. I think we will definitely come back there again. We Recommend this place.

Myself and my partner wanted to take our 18 month old for his first holiday. The park was lovely and quiet, easy to get to by car etc. the facilities were good and we made good use of the indoor pool. The only whinge we had was that it wasn?t made clear to us on booking that there isn?t parking outside of the caravan we stayed in. We had to park in the main car park, down a hill, which with an 18 month old and all the things you need for a day out was an absolute pain. Maybe the play areas could be revised too? As for a younger child they weren?t the most appropriate. The decking on the caravan was also tiny, enough room for a table crammed in which made it difficult for our son to run about. The caravan was immaculate and a great size.

The site is really nice. The staff are friendly. The inside and outside pools are great and the bar/club house is really nice (but very expensive). The vans are nice and site layout is good. The only issue, and in my eyes is a major issue, is there is no phone signal (occasionally you may get a bit of signal for a moment), so no calls or internet. They have WiFi in the bar, but it's very slow, unlike other holiday parks of this kind, they have no pay for WiFi, of it had this it would definitely be the best holiday park in the Newquay area, but as it is, this downside makes it lower than all the others, as they offer this. So it's a nice place, but not if you want phone signal or internet.

When we arrived we were greeted by a dirty caravan that we had to clean out selves the bathroom was dirty and the blinds were knackered they fell off the wall when we used the toilet the doors didn?t shut properly. when we went to complain to reception the receptionist had a stinking attitude with us and told us there was nothing she could do and we would have to stay in it for the week. We then had the manager of the park come to look at it and he said it shouldn?t of been left like that and said maintenance would come sort it. Later that night when we were going to go to bed we pulled the sofa bed out the lee were bugs in it. The next morning we went to see if they could move us they said they had one caravan and it would cost us £320 to move but they weren?t sure if we could have it so we had to wait all day to find out if we could. It was absolutely ridiculous that we had to pay so much to be moved . We lost 2 days of our holiday through it. We also experienced bullying in the work place as there was a security who we spoke to most nights who the other security staff isolated him. He?s the only one that was doing his job while the rest stood around and done nothing. Bret the security put his life and soul into his job u could see he loved his job unlike the rest. We also had members of staff from the bar asking us to get them vapes and they would give us the money for them.

We stayed Early May Bank Holiday weekend (me, husband, 3 year old daughter and my mum and dad). This is a great resort and a good base to explore Cornwall. Our caravan was perfect and had good spacious decking. I agree with some other comments that no privacy and caravans close together but this didn't bother us. Shop was very handy. Pool a great size although lifeguards were a picky, blowing their whistle if you went a cm over the non swimmer line with armbands, and we had a small ball and before we had even got in the pool they had given us a warning to not be throwing too far (felt like I was 10 years old). The Venue is absolutely brilliant. We ate there twice and the food was great. Entertainment was perfect, 3 year old loved it. It was very quiet which was a shame because a lot of effort was put into the games and dancing etc. No WiFi or phone signal at the caravan but can get it at the Venue. Porth beach a short walk away and is a beautiful beach. Had a great time here

We booked my family of 6, 2 adults and 4 children for 3 nights at the resort through booking.com.It was a privately owned caravan, NUMBER 98. The place was filthy, none of the bedding was changed they still had previous guests makeup, hair, pubic hair, grass marks on them. The bedding was just thrown on the beds and not made up. The bathroom was disgusting, the toilet was soiled with urine marks all over it and had not been cleaned in a long time, the shower had debris and pubic hair in it. The kitchen had a few dishes washed and left to dry, the stove had crumbs and food still stuck on it. The counters had dried food marks. The couches and floors were dirty and soiled. According to the booking.com website the place was meant to be cleaned thoroughly to Covid standards. There were no bath towels like advertised, there was no Wifi and satellite as advertised therefore no Tv. There was absolutely no hot tub as advertised. There was no washing machine as advertised. My family and i walked to reception and spoke to Teresa, she assisted in offering us her hoover and towels that you could hire and i had to go and get cleaning detergents and cloths to clean my own accommodation.there was no Wifi as advertised .It also says you have see views which is another lie. The owner of unit 98 is extremely arrogant and offers no resolve, nor apology , he said the wifi was his bad and he will have it attended to in the coming days which meant absolute nothing to us as we had only booked for 3 nights but we ended up leaving after the second night as it was a horrible off putting experience. If you do decide to come to this resort DO NOT book through booking.com only go through the resort where you get what is advertised.
