Not a bad convenience store in the middle of Penzance got what you need

Don't use their card machines. I used their in store card machine which I have found out belongs to a company called CARDTRONICS UK Ltd who have only one star reviews and are scammers. Their machine process transactions but no money is ejected. I told the manager in the store that I had tried to extract £40 and aid that the money request had not come out of the machine and he showed no interest all all and was totally unhelpful.

It's just okay. I went here to get basics when I arrived in Penzance and it was very basic. I could only get bread, milk, jam and teabags. They didn't have any coffee or loo rolls, neither did they have anything to cook a meal with. My advice is to stop off at the large Sainsbury's as you come into Penzance and stock up (not possible if you've travelled by train). Otherwise bring stuff with you and go to the large supermarket on your first morning.

I gave it a 3star because every time I go to the self service you scan your items but when it comes to your grapes it won't scan so you've got to go to the check out to get them scanned separately,so there is no point going to self service this has happened every time i get your grapes.

This is by far the best co op in Penzance! You can always find everything you need and they have a good vegetarian range too. I never have to queue here because they have 3 self service tills as well as a row of cashiers too.

Good variety, well stocked and we'll organized. A bit on the worn side, but I guess that means it's well used! Overall, decent place to shop.
