Food was nice but £15 for the Pyramid chicken it?s just chips, peas or salad and a butterflied chicken breast. Compared to some of the other meals it was poor value for money.To include some onion rings and salad with peas, chips would have been better.

we went there for a meal and wow couldnt eat it all, but it was cooked fresh , i had the jumbo fish and chips with mushy peas and couldnt eat it all great service , polite,friendly and will 100% be going back again

Visited with family in Jan 2024. Positives: Upon arrival we were welcomed by the staff, and the young lad who served us was polite and friendly. The food was good and the portions were a really good size. Negatives. The service was slow for deserts and the drinks order had to be chased up. We had young children and the attitude from the chef regarding the children being in the pub was awful and confrontational. He was unnecessarily rude with poor customer service skills which ruined the evening. The young staff were doing their best. Conclusion. The attitude and appealing behaviour from the chef means I have only given this review only one star which is a shame because tge food was good. I will not be bringing the family to this pub again.
