The welcome from the owners was outstanding and the friendliness from ALL staff was superb.Breakfasts and evening meals were fantastic value for money and the quality of cookery was exceptionalCleanliness throughout was of the highest order, our room was very good but it was difficult to control the shower hot water and the sink hot water took a very long time to materialiseIt was a first class stay and we will return

Only a 1 night stay for the shanty festival but what a fab place. From great directions, to extremely lovely owners, gorgeous room (beautifully decorated like something from a home magazine) with box of chocs, tea, coffee etc, yummy complimentary cream tea, perfect breakfast. This place is a gem, we have stayed in a few bnbs, hotels around this area but no more searches, this is the place. Nice walk into Mevagissey for pubs, shops, views, (yes it's uphill back but really not that hard). Also good location for Eden project, Heligan and many other Cornwall attractions. Will be back next year.

A beautiful little family run hotel. We only stayed one night but wish it could have been more. Very friendly owners, good parking, sparkling clean, beautifully decorated, very comfortable room with lots of lovely touches. Swimming pool (although we didn't use). Breakfast was one of the nicest I have ever had. It is a the top of a hill into the village, but fine if you are fit. Would definitely recommend.

WOW.. what a gem. We have just had 3 nights at this lovely hotel and it was a wrench to leave. The rooms are lovely with everything you need, all of the team are so friendly and cheerful, nothing is too much trouble and as for the food... from the breakfast to the evening meals,they deserve every award going. It is the hosting that transforms this hotel from good to great. So friendly and hard working, they take a genuine interest in their guests. The pretty rooms are spotless with lovely comfy beds and little extra touches and treats that make you feel very welcome. The food is delicious and beautifully presented. Thank you for a lovely stay.

You can not get better from the moment we arrived Tam and Wes gave us a warm and fantastic welcome. They made us fill so relaxed making our stay so great. The breakfast was so good and evening food spot on. Great parking with only 10 min walk down to town with lovely sea views on the way. We can?t wait to return again. One of the best. Thanks to both of them.

We spent a few nights staying at this very friendly hotel. We thought we would eat in for the first night we wanted a meal but the food was so good we didn't bother to go anywhere else! Breakfast was just as good and the prebooking a time slot and you order meant service was always fast (and also friendly). The room was very comfortable and staff always helpful. A really lovely time away.

Just lovely ! From the time we arrived until we left the hosts and staff were amazing. Lovely room with nice touches like chocolates on your pillow to the delicious complementary cream tea. The breakfast menu was really good lots of choices all freshly cooked to order. Good location only a short walk down into Mevagissey (although the walk back up the hill is a bit taxing ! ) A great stay in a lovely hotel where you are made to feel so welcome !!!

From the moment we arrived the owners were warm and welcoming. There was even a complimentary cream tea which was lovely. Our bedroom was comfortable and had everything we needed. The breakfast was one of the best we had eaten anywhere ! Also the food in the restaurant was fantastic . If we ever return to mevagissey we will certainly stay again. :)

Hotel was first class as was the service and the food. I would strongly recommend this as a base if you are staying in Cornwsll or visiting the Eden project.

Our third stay at the Tremarne and again we were so well looked after. Tam and Wes are the perfect hosts, making sure that our stay is the best. They have a brilliant team that are also dedicated to ensuring that guests want for nothing. This is, without doubt, the best hotel we have ever stayed in. It is spotlessly clean, the meals (cooked by Wes) are absolutely top quality. The hotel is a short walk from the main village, not too far, but away from the throngs of people in high season. If you are looking for a proper top-notch hotel in Cornwall, give the tRemarne a try, I guarantee you'll return! We're already booking our next stay.

Spent two nights here, nothing is too much trouble. An atmosphere of total relaxation and feeling cared for. The extra touches make all the difference. Beautiful food. Even able to use the pool courtesy of some Cornish afternoon sunshine. Will definitely be back and would recommend 100%.

Firstly, i never write reviews, but cannot leave here without doing so. Have been to many hotels across the world and genuinely, this is one of the best experiences I've ever had. When you arrive, you are overwhelmed by the views, then the warm welcome, then the cleanliness and decor of the hotel and then lovely room with amazing sea views. All of the guests seemed happy, chilled and catered to. Wes and Tam are amazing hosts, the food (omg! The foooood!) was delicious and the biggest shock was the price.. unbelievable value for money considering the standard of the food. We read the reviews about the warm welcome and cream tea , but our expectations were far exceeded. Liselle and all of the other staff maintain a happy, chatty and professional approach to the dining experience. A really caring, personal and full filling experience here... all hotels should have a Wes and Tam!
