I have shopped at Cotwolds Outdoors, Truro, twice in the last month and each time I have had excellent customer service. I find it really tricky to find comfortable hiking boots because my left and right feet are not the same size, and narrow at the arch but broad at the toes. I was therefore extremely thankful of Ashley?s encyclopaedic knowledge and infinite patience. He gave really great advice on what type of boot best suited my awkward feet, as well as what socks and inserts could help. Thanks too to Scott for being very kind.

Some of the staff need some customer service training, I asked about children's clothing and was told go on the Internet. Very unhelpful.I then went straight round to Mountain Warehouse who were brilliant.

Walking the south west coast path with my girlfriend and half way through our beloved MSR tent poles snapped and ripped through the exterior sheet? a manufacturing defect which apart from that the tent has been amazing! We purchased a year ago from Cotswold outdoor, Scott and the other lovely staff at Cotswold Truro were amazing in sorting through our warranty and getting us back on the path as soon as possible. Excellent customer service! Would recommend :)

Looking for a good pair of walking trousers quiet expensive but like they say you get what you pay for. Staff were very helpful in choosing and there knowledge was very important and helpful.Well recommended but it does help to look around because mainly different makes fit different ????

Have been shopping here on and off for years since they opened, liked the product range but always found the customer service to not be the best. However, during my last visit the customer service reached new lows exasperated by some sort of queue jumping appointment system. Will not shop there again, and have since found some of their products cheaper elsewhere.

Helpful and friendly staff. I bought some walking shoes on a recommendation of a member of staff. They are still going strong after nearly five months of trekking around Europe and the Egypt (and now Cornwall). Definitely good advice and will be back before my next adventure.

Terrible customer service bought a very expensive jacket less then six months old and discoloured inside and refused replacement and said I?d not cleaned correctly and was my fault?.insulted
