Only popped in for a beer but it?s very well kept. I have eaten there before and it?s very good.Food & drinks: Great food and drinks

Popped in hoping to enjoy a few pints of ale and maybe a bit of lunch. Unfortunately the 'real ale' was a choice of 2 equally horrible citrusy, fruity, gassy (and very expensive) beers. I get that these modern 'craft beers' are the trendy thing but we were hoping a Cornish village pub might offer some decent best bitter. Can't comment on the food as we drank up and left to search for a decent pint elsewhere.

Enjoyed a pint & cheesy chips after kayaking from Deveron Quay for many months. The landlord is most unfriendly. Reminds me of a Mancunian who cannot move on from the 80's. Met him @ the quay this morning where he verbally assaulted me & barred me. I suffer from mental health (PTSD) & am the easiest of people to get on with.

A really nice pub but, unfortunately, seems to think that anyone wanting a glass of wine earns multiple millions. Made the mistake if ordering one....£12.20!!!!!!! It's not London for goodness sake, total rip off for locals.

Didn't live up to expectations based on other reviews. Bar service lacked any sort of a welcome as the staff were more interested in chatting between themselves than their customers. Beer garden looked very tired and not a pleasant place to enjoy a drink in the late summer sun. We intended to eat here but decided to move on to another pub after two very expensive drinks. Won't be returning.
