Perfect place to stop close to the train

Run down coffee shop that more notably had holes in the floor where it has failed and this has been patched up with hazard tape, rather than being repaired.Drinks were hot and refreshing when required.

Probably the best COSTA in the country. They KNOW how to make a latte/flat white (extraction in cup first, finely - no big bubbles - textured milk artfully on top - take note York Station) and such kind friendly people!Bacon roll very nice too :)P.S.Staff in all COSTAs seem lovely, just the coffee quality so variable I gave up after trying in London, Liverpool, Manchester, Bradford,Leeds, Brum & York. Carlisle redeemed faith ;)

Not usually one for leaving reviews but the service was immaculate, incredibly friendly, even staff who weren?t serving smiled. I was served by a young gentleman with a shaven head who was delightful and polite.

Best latte I've ever had, and lattes take up a lot of my funds.Lady with the blue hair, didn't catch her name as I'm blind as bat, super helpful and understanding. I emphasized to her to make sure it's oat milk as a drop of regular milk leaves me in agony for days, and my local Costa up north multiple times served me regular milk even though I clearly specified oat. I am ASD diagnosed so when I express my anxieties, people take it as assumed incomptence, insult, rudeness etc. She just took me at face value and let me watch her pour the oat milk which was reassuring to meThe general atmosphere is calm and quiet, dim lighting spacious with plenty of seating with charging sockets. not overstimulating whatsoever.Super autism friendly!

Unfortunately, at the time of this visit, the two staff on duty did not come up to par. They did not provide a tray for a disabled customer who had to ask for one to enable them to carry their drink, the same customer asked for assistance but was met with eye rolling and no communication from the staff...and no assistance. They were assisted by another customer. When a table was cleared by a customer thinking they were helping the staff, they were met with eye rolling and sighing. Disappointing for a Costa. The drinks and menu etc are the standard choices so if you are not put off by poor service it fits the bill. Handy location for the train station. Was not busy at the time of visit.

Awful experience. Service is slow. Not great if you are getting a take out for a train. Barristas are surly and not interested. Was made the wrong drink. Barrista wasn?t happy at having to remake it. Made it badly the second time. Drink wasn?t nice. Not cheap. In future will just avoid this place.

Appalling service, dreadful and unnecessarily slow ?28 minutes with only 4 people in front to be served a cold drink. Absolute disgrace.

Conveniently situated by Carlisle Railway Station, so ideally placed if travelling. Limited parking outside for either 20 minutes or 1 hour using your Cumbria parking disc. This branch has plenty of seating inside, which is very deceiving when looking as its frontage, there's also limited seating available outside. Most of the indoor seating is accessible, as a small section has a step up. The facilities are multi-use, clean, and accessible. This branch is usually kept very clean by the helpful and friendly staff. As with most other Costa branches, it offers a wide range of hot and cold beverages, light bites, snacks, and sweet treats.Don't forget your loyalty card or app.Parking: Information on Disc Parking Zones in Cumbria:In Cumbria, many areas operate disc parking systems. Any motorist may park in a disc zone for a limited period without charge, provided that a valid clock disc set to the time of arrival is prominently displayed in the vehicle. Clock discs are available free of charge from council offices, tourist information centres and various shops and business outlets throughout the county. If you don't have a clock disc it is acceptable to prominently display a hand written note with your arrival time in the vehicle. The maximum duration of stay in each disc zone is clearly indicated on the signs displayed on the street where you have parked.

Service is great, always greeted with a smile and quickly seen too.I can be picky with my coffee, but they never seem to mind, or at least don't let it show.
