Really long wait for card. It?s really unfair I couldn?t get an appointment for 3 weeks so I decided to do this online, but it took like 15 days. You really slow guys, I?m disappointed in you, like I mean that I need my card cause I?m going away to visit Korea for the next few months and I really need it. All right I found out that my friend got her card in 4 days and she did in the same way that I did. You know you should work better!!!

Tried to transfer nearly 20k from my HSBC bank overseas to this HSBC bank. Was given an interview. That then led to an interview with the manager. Was turned down for unknown reasons.Guys, this is an easy transaction. HSBC to HSBC. What is your problem?

The HSBC branch in Carlisle is an absolute credit to this banking institution. All the staff are extremely customer focused, very helpful and provide solid professional advice. In particular Stuart Brown has stood out and I believe went the extra mile to ensure we had the correct information to make informed decisions. A great to have that level of support.

I had the pleasure of meeting Judith who helped me massively with multiple issues. I am on the spectrum and struggle massively with things like going into the bank and Judith was so kind and helpful, making me a coffee and even lending me her charger when my phone died mid meeting! ð??? This was the best experience with HSBC I have ever had, and Judith is an asset to the company.

When I was an international student in Carlisle, I was their customer and I noticed that there was a certain amount of money (5-6 pounds) which was taken from my account by them every month. Later I found out that I did not have to pay for that but they still told me that I had to. I closed my account and I went to another bank to create my new account (My new bank did not charge me), but when I went to HSBC, a blonde lady ignored me as if I was not there and she served another white lady who was behind me. I was treated differently by HSBC when I was in Canterbury too, a lady slammed the door just in front of me. I have graduated British University and I got married to a New Zealander doctor and now I am living happily. I will never use HSBC any more because I experienced their discrimination and rudeness, but I am wondering how they would treat me next time if I brought my white husband with me there. I am just curious about their behaviour. I could study their discriminative mind and write an essay. ;)

The staff member that served me was a bit rude if I'm honest, maybe just an off day for him but didn;t really listen to me and was very dismissive

Have sat waiting to be put through to a human for over three quarters of an hour, sick of hearing canned music and being told I will be answered shortly..I am in a prioritised queue.. etc. Gave up and phoned another number, eventually spoke to a human who said she would put me through to the relevant department...was put back through to the original number... a whole hour wasted and still not spoken to the right person!! What a waste of time HSBC is..

Tried frustratingly to contact the Carlisle Branch of HSBC as we have accounts there. There is only a central uk number that is the contact for all enquiries and this form of contact is less than useless!!! You are kept on hold for what seems to be an age, listening to dreadful classical music until you eventually give up in a rage. If you are lucky and someone does answer the phone ( and they could be anywhere in the world), they then suggest passing you on to another number where once again you end up listening to classical music and end up equally frustrated! After approx 1hour you have lost the will to live and end the telephone frustration. HSBC customer service is quite frankly in my opinion abysmal.
