Second time we've stayed here. First time was in the rooms above the Inn and the second was at the cottage. It's a really gorgeous place and the staff seriously go above and beyond for you. We cannot recommend this place enough. Food is always delicious. Drinks are well priced. I have zero issues with The Black Dog Inn...

We had a great Friday night burger night at The Black Dog. Superb burgers, excellent chips and a good selection of beer.

Burger night on a Friday. Staying at High Haume Farm so an easy half a mile walk. Friendly welcome. Table reserved as requested. Drinks reasonable. Burger was delicious, obviously good quality beef and toppings plentiful. Chips very tasty too. A very enjoyable visit

Located on the outskirts of Dalton-in Furness in the Cumbrian countryside a former coaching inn, the Black Dog is still run as a traditional, local pub. The quarry tiled floors, rustic beams and log fires are cosy in the winter while our decked terrace is enjoyed on sunny days throughout the year.
With a wide range of both alcoholic and non alcoholic beverages, there’s sure to be something for all tastes. We have a superb range of award winning ales and draught beers, serving a great selection of wines, gins and whiskeys
