“Found this place by chance and how glad we were. It was a warm sunny day so we sat outside and had a lovely lunch - my prawn cocktail great and my husband had ham, egg and chips also great - the ham had obviously been home cooked and was carved to perfection - the lovely lady who was serving us even brought us beer mats to put over our wine glasses so the flies could not have a drink! We were on our way up North on holiday but will certainly return if we are ever going that way again.”
