Called in this morning, to your Middlegate branch I was served by a very helpful, friendly and efficient young lady called Harriet. Having worked in retail myself, I can recognise excellent customer service, when I see it. Well done.

Oh my stars. Utterly glorious , quirky individual pub. Superb range of beers, fabulous interior nooks and crannies, fascinating wall pictures and objects, and a great game of hook and peg in the back bar. Undoubtedly one of England's very finest pub's which just has to be visited!!
