“Thought I was going to get fleeced in here for two teas a piece of sausage pie and a chocolate cake , but not at all ! All for just under a tenner brought my faith in humanity back for a short time lol . We sat outside on this glorious day in glenridding and having our cake and eating it came to mind as we took in our beautiful surroundings. I noted this is where the tour buses stop and now I know why ! Parking wasn’t a problem either with bays on the road fifty metres away and a small bridge over a lovely stream on the walk there . This is definitely the best place for a pit stop on the east side of the Lake District”
