Just wanted to say thank you to the service guys and the lady receptionist who changed the bulbs on my wife's Honda civic tourer whilst she was heavily pregnant. It was having its service and they did it free of charge when she brought the bulbs in.I have bought several cars from here and always gone through Kyle who sorted me out over email which I prefer. Not sure if I will return now kyle has left for my next car as I don't want the hassle of being upsold etc. We shall see.

I visited the showroom before with my friend, their customer service was fabulous ..so this time when my friend planned to buy a car,i didn't hesitate to go to the showroom and we got a lovely gentleman Mr Dan for us. As he promised same day delivery with a car loan. it was like express delivery,we were happy with the same day delivery with a car loan it's all because of Mr Dan he knows how to satisfy the customer...we appreciate his support.he is a star and asset for the company. I highly recommend the Arnold Clark Chesterfield showroom for car purchase you will never be disappointed.

Great service. Love new car and really helpful team. Gave me a good price for my trade-in and bent over backward to help. It needed the front grill replacing and also had a fault with the battery, both of which they fitted new, free of charge which would probably have set me back around £500, so really appreciate them picking up the tab on this.

Typical large second hand car dealer, expensive prices mind and forget any negotiation. Salesman pleasant but on first meeting called me 'bud' and ' mate' which is very off putting and unprofessional....and I did tell him this! After that he was very good in trying his best for us but unfortunately had a miserable manager ( who couldn't smile if he tried ) who was as useful as a chocolate fireguard!Did put deposit down on a car subject to test driving ( didn't like) and took 3 phone calls to get money back ( took over 2 weeks) .Considering well known dealer they aren't very confident of their cars as they only offer a pathetic 2 month warranty....even on late 2017-2019 reg cars!Overall bad experience ( except for salesman who was ok)

Managers aware of a wet belt issue with Peugeot 1.2 puretech 3008s but their staff won?t pass that information on unless it?s in their interests for you to buy an alternative. Staff made out they ?don?t buy those cars in anymore due to issues??as the car I was looking at wasn?t in their store.Quick online search showed they actually had them in stock, with one bought in so recently it doesn?t even have images yet. Based on managers comments on wet belt avoid purchasing 3008s from 2018-2020 full stop.Have always used Arnold Clark previously, will likely avoid in future after misleading information all round.

Part 1 of 2 please read bothI encourage people to read my truthful insight into what Arnold Clark are truly like and the experience I had with them.I sold my car to Arnold Clark in good faith and advised I?d be looked after by the sales team while I was purchasing the car who couldn?t do enough for me.Little did I know as soon as I got the car multiple faults would flash up on the dash and the Audi Christmas tree would illuminate. for example esc fault, break fault, the stop Start refusing to work and dead pixels on the trip computer screen which appeared after the errors flashed up.I also had them respray the rear bumper before I received the car due to it having a big dent in it which they did a shoddy job as you could see the paint runs all down the bumper where it had been sprayed .I flagged up all the issues about the car to Arnold Clark where they were quick to respond and get the car booked in to be looked at which I had high hopes for. I was let down by the fact they couldn?t fix the stop start and tried to bluff it saying it won?t work with the AC on? I got one of the mechanics to come out on the test with me and he realised that there were further issues with the car. The car was looked at by an Audi specialist supplied by Arnold Clark who said the car had been mapped to turn the stop start and the add blue off which Arnold Clark accused me of doing. Luckily the Audi specialist looked at the problem and realised Arnold Clark was at fault. I flagged the issue to customers services and went straight to the dealership where I brought the car to talk to someone about the issue. I was told by the manager he would have to go legal with the problem and refused to believe I didn't do it to the car no matter how much I explained to him that the car had these faults from day 1 and I was trying to get them fixed through there aftercare warranty.The manager (David Thompson) tried to fob me off with £1000 ?good will? to get some engine warranty and fix the add blue I told him that wouldn?t suffice as it wasn?t enough to cover the costs of doing so.I was told it would cost too much to fix the car and they would have to take it back. Which I replied Id like a like for like swap which they refused because my car was cheaper than the rest of the equivalent Audi A5s in store and it would cost them too much to swap it for another. I?ve also tried to claim for consequential losses which I have had minimal success with. Ive put around £2000 into the car having it tinted wrapped and new alloys wheels and a spoiler to make it look nice. But they are trying to charge me for usage on a faulty miss sold car and also charge me for a new set of alloy wheels to replace the ones I have put on it. These problems started in August and I?ve still not got a resolution. I?ve not even been given a curtesy car while they have been ?trying? to resolve my issue so I?ve had to beg borrow and steal lifts to and from work and to anywhere else?s I?ve need to go. I?ve never been so stressed in my life at some points I couldn?t even eat I was that stressed with the issue. I?ve lost a lot of money due to Arnold Clark?s negligence and I?m sure I?ll lose more because of them?

Part 2 of 2 first part of the review is from LukeI will make sure I tell everyone I speak to to Mark and avoid this place at all costs they?ve done nothing but mug me off,take my money, treat me like a liar and I have never received such poor customers service in my life.This problem has only just started getting resolved I?m going to lose about £1500 in usage and alloy costs it?s now the 19th of October 2023 and this problem Is only just getting resolved.If the add blue and stop start don?t work how did the car pass the emissions test at your mot Arnold Clark think someone needs the sack ? I?ve also read through a lot of your policy as well and it looks like you?ve ignored the majority of it when dealing with me as a customer and with the car before sales.Oh and btw David Thompson said you don?t do your checks on all the cars you sell only the ones that look like they need it if you don?t believe me check the phone recordings ? what a joke.I know nothing will change I?ve already spoken with customers service and when I was on the phone to Amy(one of the managers) you could hear the whole team laughing at me down the phone while I was trying to have a serious conversation. I just hope my experience gets heard and people see the truth.To summarise I brought a car with faults Arnold Clark refused to fix it and now I?ve lost out. Amazing job Arnold Clark you?ve lost another customer.However the only person there who tried to look after me was David Carter thanks Dave think you need a bonus this year for dealing with this issue alone never mind any of the others?So to improve I think you need to change the way yourselves and the finances company?s interact with each other almost 2 months maybe more to get a car sorted is not acceptable.Customer?s service shouldn?t be laughing at you when you have a serious issue.There needs to be compensation for miss selling cars and the mess about that bringsYour courtesy cars need to be able to cater to all ages what about your younger customers should they lose out on the benefits of giving you their business just for being young ?Managers and customer?s service need to stop talking down to people over the phone it?s not the best way to deal with customers.And finally I don?t think it?s fair to advertise that you do all these check on the cars you get when in reality you don?t. My proof for this is my entire complaint and the car I brought from you.Thanks for reading
