Stayed here for a month due to house move, Greeted by Dom on my first day and Nat. Nothing was too much trouble, the keys were explained and shown to my room.Spacious room, very comfortable bed, powerful shower with a bath. Great location for the hotel with roads and various restaurants and amenities, only a short bus ride or drive to the centre.

Arrived late and received a warm and helpful welcome from Dominic who was all too happy to provide tips for making the most of the area's amenities. 5* to the staff hereIt's a travel lodge. Not fancy, basic room but what was important was there. Perfectly clean, warm and dry, comfortable mattress. Road noise not an issue at night. Also spacious. Had a good stay. Perfect spot to crash after sight seeing.

WE RECENTLY STAYED AT TRAVELODGE IN CHESTERFIELD AND WERE IMPRESSED WITH THE FREINDLY SERVICE AND COMFORT OF OUR ROOM. JEREMY, BELLA AND AMY WHO RAN RECEPTION WERE VERY ACCOMODATING AND NOTHING WAS TOO MUCH TROUBLE. WOULD HAPPILY STAY AGAIN

Hotel very close to busy dual carriageway and roundabout which seems to invite all motorcycle riders in particular to see how fast they can accelerate from the roundabout all night. Also, soap dispenser missing from shower. Overall disappointed. Won't use again.

We used this Travelodge as a base to explore Derbyshire. The staff was really Accommodating. It was the most reasonable price plus free car park. There is a buger king on site its not everyone's choice but did come in handy one night will say the food was hot and fine..

There was a weird smell outside of the hotel and inside the room by where the door is. Also the cups and utensils were dirty, there was no table to dine and eat and the bath for the shower looked as thought it hadn?t been cleaned properly

Polite, helpful staff but too much noise from the main road immediately behind the rooms...cannot have windows open at all. First night, roadworks started at 03:00, second night kept awake by the local Gary's racing cars around the bypass, a regular problem with Chesterfield....

We have a dog, and this was one of the few hotels in Chesterfield that allow pets. From the outside look of the place, we weren?t expecting too much, but what a little gem this is. The welcome by the gentleman in reception was excellent, and he talked us through how to use the access after hours and how to get around. The room was very large, enough space to put up our big travel kennel (not that they insist on this). We were able to leave our dog in the hotel that evening without any issues. The bed was large and comfortable, as was the bathroom, again a good size and excellent bath/shower. The only negative was I assumed there would be a hairdryer in the room, which there wasn?t, so take your own. I would highly recommend this hotel, dog or not.
