Granddaughter had her glasses broken at school didn't have a spare pair as boots don't offer young people a free spare pair as some opticians do.\\nAfter speaking to boots opticians in Derby with a solution they had no suggestions absolutley useful with all the staff they have in Intu centre bootsl.Went and enquired at local Adam's opticians straight away the optician put the lenses into another pair of frames whilst we waited\\nIReally old fashioned courtesy and customer comes first service from Adam's opticians Derby.Is boots opticians not capable of dealing with emergencies like ours.Its clear that smaller opticians can deal with these situations maybe boots need some training from Adam's on customer care

3 attempts to get my hearing tested.... 3 cancelled appointments. The last one was cancelled and not re arranged. They didn't even attempt to call and let me know..... Money spent on parking unnecessarily and one unhappy potential customer. Very poor service from boots.

Very disorganised staff even with a appointment they said I was 90 minutes early ( should have been 10.am they said I was wrong it was 11.30 but the would still see me for my new Spectacles fitting.\\nfelt very rushed and I can honestly say I thought better of boots opticians that this store In Derby Intu Devonshire walk would be a much better customer service experience compared to there competitors but trust me they are not and I will never ever recommend to anyone ? AVOID!!!!!!

Absolutely shocking service. Through tests last month , found i had a bleed behind my right eye. Phoebe said she was sending an emergency referall to derby royal for further investigation. Should take 2 weeks! After not hearing anything i went to my doctors who knew nothing of mytest. Since been back in n info was sent via fax and not email.. manager got on it and apologised but still waiting with eyesight getting worse.. the lies on phone calls werea joke

Had an eye test with Boots Derby as part of a Military application, now I'm getting regular junk mail from them. Cant cancel online due to sketchy webpage, cant cancel over the number listed on the boots letter because... reasons? Told to contact Derby, the phone number on their google profile is wrong, when I redail the new number given by dialing the old number no one picks up and it rings out, tried multiple times. I wouldn't change from my small local business opticians for this unprofessional service.

Absolutely impossible to get ahold of someone on any of the numbers and options, been passed around without speaking to anyone before it tells me the opening times over and over for half an hour.

Nice staff, good eye test - rubbish service after that !!! I went on 4th July, had eye test, needed glasses, chose frames and 6 weeks later still no sign of them. After 3 weeks I used my prescription and ordered 2 pairs from Glasses Direct which cost me £23 delivered and they took 6 days to arrive !!! Meanwhile Boots glasses still nowhere to be seen !!! Shockingly inefficient !!!

went in to get contacts qnd glasses but the ditzy Asian female optician I had took 40 mins after my appointment was to call me in (i was the only one in the waiting area) who was new there booked me in for a day she wasn't even in then typed my number in wrong so she wouldn't have to contact me. all the other girls there were just as trash all they said was oh we are sorry we can book u in on the 24th. incredibly disappointed painted 3.10 for parking defo will never buy from there and will advise everyone I know not to go there the service is way to trash
