“The usual Coop experience: clean; reasonable selection; relatively over priced goods; illogical layout and staff are transactional and politel rather than friendly.”

“Always helpful, always friendly. Great Draycott shop .8th May 2020. Possibly the best shop in Draycott. It has everything.....food, alcohol, tobacconist, free to use cash machine, post office, which is open outside of regular post office hours, parking space, great offers and the friendliest, most helpful staff. This shop and it's team are a great asset for Draycott.22nd April 2022, 2pm. All good still apart from one woman, who is generally pretty awful every time I go in. She just stares down her nose at me, never offers a receipt, never tries to help with heavy shopping or large bottles....she just stares at me while I try to manage everything on the small counter. Poor behaviour from a grown woman. Such a shame.”

“Much better since the refit.friendly, helpful staff with everything you would expect from a local coop. There is a fruit and vegetable section, fridges with ready meals, sandwiches, salads cooked meats and pies and dairy products and another isle dedicated to tea, coffee, biscuits and chocolate and a drinks isle stocked with a good selection and wine and beer. The spirits are behind the till with the cigarettes”

“Nice selection of items with good price ranges, yes some normal stuff are more expensive than say Asda or Aldi so you wouldnt buy these here but for bread and milk and some usual groceries fine and they have a costa express machine too which is a plus.”

“A slightly larger Tesco express than the standard stores. The building is an impressive deco affair and has a spacious car park for a local store. The door is slightly narrow but seems to have good access for wheelchairs. The staff were friendly and helpful.”

“Yeah a good shop overall. You'll often find me there browsing the beers. There is one customer that I dislike though, he keeps kicking me in the foot and running off through through the maze of Isles so I can't find him. Scrawny little sod.”

“This M&S is the best in Derby in my view. The staff are all so friendly and helpful. I never see a miserable staff member. All are willing to help.Staff on the check out are very kind and chatty. They all say hello, and you can have a nice chat with them whilst packing your shopping :)It's got the same feel to it as a local shop. There does not seem to be a high staff turn over and it seems to be very well run.I can always get what I want.I love the food at M&S. My only wish is that the Kingsway one had a deli area, then it would be perfect! The store is very clean and I love how throughout the pandemic they have always cleaned the trolleys and been strict on the door when allowing entry. This has made me feel safe when shopping there.I do not have anything bad to say about the M&S. I only wish that other shops were run this efficiently.”

“Great staff, especially Harry who made our elderly relative's day. She was frustrated after traveling to multiple locations to try and send a parcel, and Harry reassured her, helped her, and turned her day around. Thank you!”

“Nice local shop! Everything you need close to home. Offers the 'too good to go' magic bags, for some savings and to prevent food waste! Friendly staff in the coop and coffee shop! Insomnia coffee shop makes delicious coffee and hot chocolate, plus a wide selection of sweet treats. Can be a bit pricey, but it's irresistible to stop by here once in a while for a treat yourself day.”

“Amazing how Paul and his team have kept the stock levels during these crazy days. Great shop, brilliant staff, nothing is too much trouble, newspaper delivery in Ockbrook never missed 6.30 am on the button. We are lucky to have such a great retailer in Spondon.”

“My first time @ this sainsbury local on Stanley Street. I had to purchase some items for my daughters cooking lesson and I was unsure what I'm looking for. I asked Rosalyn if she can assist me. An absolute legend ?. She said I'm very happy to help and that's why we're here for her exact words. Mind blowing customer service & she's a great assett to your sainsbury. Kind regards Mr Sharif”

“This is the best place for every day items. Drinks, drinks, daily vegetable, sandwich etc.\\nBut be aware of it's own brand dishes. Example newly introduced buffalo wings...it turns out very different.\\n\\nBut overall for all daily needs it just one stop”

“Opening hours are great, especially on a Sunday when other businesses are shut you can still rely on Sainsburys. It has all the basics, fridge meals, frozen meals, biscuits, sauces, bread, fruit etc which is ideal.Staff are always very nice, there is parking available. I can see that someone has wrote about the amount of bollards outside - this is because a car drove in to the front of this shop which caused lots of damage.”

“Parking is generally very good. They have a reasonable range of food. Cashpoint outside. They have newspapers and magazines. Good range of confectionery. Sometimes run out of a good range of beers for the offers.”

“Nice store and helpful staff so gave 5 stars, but I got £100 parking ticket on the store car park whilst shopping. Advised by Nissa head office to write letter to store manager for them to contact SMART PARKING to get fine cancelled, which I have done. We'll see what happens.\\nLow and behold 4 days later I get annother £100 fine for a separate parking infringement whilst shopping in store.”

“It nice to have such decent and convenience store in the Community and pretty much you can get anything you want from this store.\\nI would like to point that out I go there quit regularly as it is close to my location but whenever I go there the security guy staring a lot with a miserable face. His face is worse part of the store basically.”

“This is a nice Tesco Metro, a good size for a quick shop, it even has a small in-store bakery which is unusual but very nice!It also sells the tesco £10 meal deals, again unusual for a Metro. It has two reduced items sections, one at the end of the veg and refrigerated isle and one under the fresh orange juice at the far left corner of the shop. I tend to find good hidden gems in the back on.Staff are always helpful.”
